Job Description – Sr. Systems Analyst

Company:

We are a fast paced company providing management and laundry service to major hotels in the tri-state area.  We are looking for experienced IT professionals to help us grow our business through implementation of best in bread software solutions.  The company has grown by 100% and is projected to do the same in the coming year.

Title:    Sr. Systems Analyst
Description
The Sr. Systems Analyst's role is to plan, coordinate, and implement software solutions for the company.  The candidate will plan a major role in the evaluation, selection and integration of software systems and applications into corporate mix of financial, operational, logistics and reporting systems.  He/she is also required to develop all specialized interfaces when required and work with vendor provided APIs/development toolkits.  The individual will also have the opportunity to play a major role with our new ERP initiative starting up later this year.

Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
• Plan, execute, and manage the integration of new applications into existing
network infrastructure, systems and software throughout the enterprise.
• Participate in and support capacity planning and the development of long-term
strategic goals for systems and software in conjunction with end-users and
department managers.
• Collaborate with technology team members, end users, and other
stakeholders in the testing of new software programs and applications.
• Ensure that new software platforms integration into the organization's systems, meets
functional requirements, system compliance, and other specifications.
• Review, analyze, and report on the effectiveness and efficiency of existing
systems and develop testing strategies for improving or leveraging these
systems.
• Develop interfaces/APIs to gather or upload data – following well developed company standards and guidelines.
• Serve as project lead for technical integrations or software implementations.
Acquisition & Deployment
• Assist with the support of Windows and cloud based solutions.
• Evaluate, install, configure, and deploy new applications, systems software,
products, and/or enhancements to existing network infrastructure and
applications throughout the enterprise.
Operational Management
• Field incoming problem tickets and help desk calls from end users to resolve
application and software issues.
• Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for
modified and newly deployed systems.
Position Requirements
Formal Education & Certification
• 4+ years' experience as a developer or database analyst.
• 4+ years coding experience with one or more main-stream languages (Java, .NET, ASP, etc.)
