A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and four years of experience as described in "1" above; or Qualification Requirements (continued) The ideal candidate will possess a strong methodology and excellent skills for performance analysis of online, reporting, and batch performance issues, as identified by long running processes or excessive resource utilization, as well as suggestions for SQL and database tuning changes to improve response time. Good knowledge of scripting, with the ability to automate processes is also required. Excellent skill is required for troubleshooting and problem resolution in a timely manner. Knowledge of Oracle Gateway, OEM Grid Control, EMC Symmtrix using BCVs, and Precise 13 is a strong plus, as is knowledge of Mainframe DB2 and MS SQL Server DBs.
