Infrastructure Business Relationship Manager
Location is New Providence NJ ( North Central NJ)
Travel required 15-30% of the time , domestic and possibly international
Target Salary $100-130K plus 10% performance bonus

Manage the relationship and success of projects between IT and Business stakeholders
KEYS: coming with extensive Infrastructure or DCOM technical background. Must have ability to work easily with executive level stakeholders to build awareness, business cases and consensus. Acts as the primary point of contact for Business stakeholders ( budget owners) and their IT counterparts with to coordinate projects, track SLAs and deliverables, track timelines and executables, manage accountabilities and that end product is a demonstrable and measurable success.
PERM Position located in Central NJ Office and will require some travel 15% ON AVERAGE and could be more or could be less and will need to be adaptable and flexible
MUST hold minimum of BS degree, higher degrees preferred and welcomed but not "required"
Should d be very comfortable with a high degree of executive- level communications, presentations, budgets and forecasts
Business Relationship Manager - New Providence , NJ(JOB PURPOSE:
An IT business partner; responsible for ensuring all IT infrastructure/data center services are aligned with strategic needs. A Business Relationship Manager collaborates with executive leadership within IT application development groups and business units to ensure that the services provided are attainable and valued.
All Stakeholders are all poised to implement products and enterprise systems that embrace Web frameworks and collaborative computing infrastructures. Business Relationship Managers are of major importance within this business climate.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
As a Business Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for setting objectives and expectations of performance toward serving the business and their customers by delivering value in the form of IT infrastructure services. More specifically, the Business Relationship Manager will be responsible for:
Building strategic working relationships with executives by developing an understanding of business unit's strategy; building business and IT project plans and requirements to set objectives and expectations of performance for the business.
Identify, scope, select and prioritize opportunities for client Manage Service Level Agreements (SLA) and maintain the Service Catalogue.
Provide overall leadership in managing cross-functional teams. Display value of IT services in quantifiable terms ensuring cost efficacy.
Monitor portfolio to align and make recommendations to the PMO to prioritize and balance supply and demand.
Support project communication by providing ongoing feedback as needed to all stakeholders.
Manage budget information and provide financial costs for project and programs to Financial team.
Qualifications
Proven IT industry experience, with in-depth knowledge of more than one of the following:
Business vision, strategy and requirements.
Must be proficient in managing people, financials, and project portfolios.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
5 - 10 Years related experience in IT infrastructure and business relationship management.
Bachelors degree required.

As a Project Manager you will work together with business unit stakeholders and technical resource managers in delivering assigned projects within acceptable timeframes, adhering to quality standards. The Project Manager may need to be responsible for multiple projects running concurrently; working across divisions to manage all phases of the development process. More specifically, the Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for:
Planning & Delivering assigned projects on a schedule that is aligned with the critical needs of the business.
Constructing the work breakdown structure for the project: demonstrating proficiency in using project management software tools
Maintain ownership and accountability for the project/program schedule.
Provide periodic status reports to management regarding the project, effectively communicating the status of project/s to all stakeholders.
Manage all relationships necessary for a successful project team.
Ability to negotiate with vendors.
Identify and make recommendations for improvement to existing processes and procedures.
Represent PMO in cross-functional teams within the client organization.
Qualifications
Proven industry experience in IT infrastructure/ Data Center environment, with in-depth knowledge of more than one of the following: Project Management Body of knowledge: Scope, Time, Risk, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communication, Procurement and Integration.
Prior experience in DR remediation is required
Strong technical and project/program management skills are essential.
Proficiency with Micros oft Project & Office required; HP's Project Portfolio Management Tool preferred
Excellent verbal, written and presentations / communication skills are essential.
5 - 10 Years related experience. Bachelors required. PMP or equivalent required.
This position is located within the Dayton , OH area. Moderate travel 15-30% will be required.
