Title: Enterprise Application Security Analyst Industry: Medium Size Financial Services Type: Full Time Location: NYC midtown Experience: to Jr. to Mid Level – 2 to 5 yrs Pay: 70 to 120K base plus benefits and bonus
The primary responsibilities of Enterprise Application Security Analyst in the Identity Management team are to develop and support application security platform, diagnose issues with the existing suite of security products, assist application development teams with integration, and perform on boarding tasks.
Job Summary
Candidates for this position will join a premier team delivering authentication, authorization, and federation solutions to business units that host external web sites used by individual and corporate customers. The responsibilities also include:
• Provide day-to-day support in maintaining smooth operation of our Development, Testing, and Production environments.
• Respond to specific requests by business units related to setting up new components and plug-ins.
• Provide guidance and support to application development teams who are integrating with the platform.
• Perform development tasks such as automation, scripting, and reporting.
• Provide operation support and maintenance guidance to operational teams for our security infrastructure – OIM, LDAP, OAM, OES – to ensure reliability, consistency, interoperability, reusability, scalability, and performance.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on our Enterprise Identity and Access Management stack.
• Recommend security and access management policy changes. Configure/Implement security policy enforcement strategies. Create security policy recommendations for web services.
• Create and deliver presentations, communicating technical and highly complex security design information to developers, management and public groups.
Required skills and experience:
• Background in application security platform operations.
• Experienced installing, configuring, managing and deploying an application server such as WebLogic, a web server such as Apache, and a directory server such as Sun LDAP.
• Strong desire to learn and develop in the application security space.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, inter-personal skills, and the ability to take ownership and work effectively as part of a team.
• Demonstrated strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
Candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a development or operations role, including a minimum of 2 years of experience in application security and identity management.
