The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) NJ Roundtable
is proud to present Career Day 2011. Learning the skills you need to
succeed in 2012.

In partnership with the New Jersey TLD (Transportation, Logitstics, and
Distribution) Talent Network and in collaboration with Rutgers Center for
Supply Chain Management, we once again bring together a day of speakers to
discuss new or different ways of conducting a successful job campaign.

Mark your calendar and plan to spend Thursday December 15th with a group of
distinguished presenters, network with others, and 'Learn the skills you
need to succeed in 2012'.

Our featured speakers and topics are:

We will once again meet at the CAIT Building on the Busch Campus of Rutgers
University in Piscataway, NJ. Directions are below and parking
instructions will be sent to all registered participants prior to the
event..

Registration is limited to 100 participants Admission is free; but we ask
you to bring a non-perishable food item or an unwrapped toy which will be
donated to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey.

JOB DESCRIPTION:





We are currently seeking a Tech Project Manager/Delivery Managerto join our Philadelphia area team of professionals. This role oversees the development phase of projects and engages with the Program Management team on behalf of the Tech team to continually refine/evolve processes in order to ensure effectiveness and quality of overall delivery. This role is highly representative of our agency and requires professionalism and integrity as you will be client-facing. Candidates must have no less than 5 years of experience driving development projects from a Technology Project Manager perspective.

Primary Responsibilities:


Managing and coordinating the overall development efforts involving team workload, project deadlines, delivery schedule and communication with technical partners

Overseeing resource allocations/bookings/budget related to development

Facilitating status meetings, daily scrum meetings, and providing periodic status reports to project and program leads

Coordinating cross-functional team schedules and efforts to staff the team appropriately

Implement, improve upon and enforce the development delivery methodology

Continually expanding your key understanding of current technologies and best practices

Validating and ensuring the quality of all deliverables before submission to Client and to serve as communications liaison and point of contact for all efforts related to development

Working with the internal team to provide recommendations for in-scope applications and package

Being adaptable in order to quickly gain a thorough understanding of our clients' industries and objectives

Collaborating with the UX team (IA and Design) and brainstorm with team members as you think on the fly

Contributing to SOW process

Acting as lead to be accountable for quality and timeliness of all technical deliverables

Forecasting potential issues and monitoring the health of the initiative of all technical phases

Managing and maintaining ticket-system (eg JIRA), triaging bugs, and working with dev lead on assignment to team

Assisting the account team to sell new projects and vet through potential business opportunities

Demonstrating initiative and ownership by being proactive in seeking information, clarification and product knowledge

Working independently and efficiently to meet agreed-upon deadlines


Essential Requirements:


5 years of experience in Tech PM or Delivery Manager role, preferably within a digital agency setting

Experience MS Project

Experience with bug tracking systems such as Jira and Bugzilla

Strong understanding of technology combined with ability to rapidly learn and apply complex business, operational and technological concepts

Proven expertise applying various quantitative methods to analyze and interpret information from multiple data sources

Demonstrate deep analytical skills with a keen desire to continue learning experience

Demonstrate creativity and an ability to think independently in development of business analyses and measurement tools

Ability to collaborate with project teams and exhibit strong project coordination capabilities and a drive for results and a commitment to client success

Pro-active and confident with proven leadership skills and the ability to command client's respect and drive client teams toward achieving their business objectives

Superior organizational, oral and written communications skills
