I thought I would share as you might know some who would be interested or might be able to post it on the Yahoo Group.
My department has an opening for a Finance Officer who will manage Worker's Comp for the UN. Titles are a little different here at the UN so even though it says Finance Officer it is for a Worker's Ccompensation Manager.

Northern Fairfield Professionals (NFP) guest speaker this month, Thursday
Dec 8, is Mark Troncone. Mark will present: Everything that you want to know
about Networking, but were afraid to try.
NFP is where people meet to expand their network connections, as well as
learn the tools needed to advance their careers. Business professionals from
all industries and career levels are welcome to attend our monthly meetings.
Our philosophy is to build reciprocal relationships where business
professionals can exchange ideas, leads, and build networking skills.

Having been in transition four previous times in his career, Mark has
witnessed the changes in the traditional way of finding employment and
self-taught himself the necessary skills to gain employment in the new

President of Audit and Compliance
We are seeking a Vice
President of Audit and Compliance to establish and implement the compliance
program to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct. As the Vice
President of Audit and Compliance at Hoboken University Medical Center, you
will monitor and report results of compliance/ internal audits of the Hospital
and provide guidance to the Board of Directors and Senior Management team on
matters relating to compliance. You will be responsible for Risk
Management oversight including risk detection, assessment, prevention, and
appraisal, and will be responsible for working with and selection insurance
carriers by conducting annual reviews along with completion and submission of
all insurance policies (e.g. Malpractice, Director, Officer, etc.).
Additional tasks of the
Vice President of Audit and Compliance include:
· Developing,
reviewing, and updating the Code of Business conduct and Ethics to ensure
continuing relevance to management and employees
· Responding
to alleged violation of rules , regulations, policies, procedures, and
Standards of Conduct by developing and overseeing a system for the
uniform handling of such allegations and by consulting with General Counsel as
needed to resolve difficult legal compliance issues
· Monitoring,
and as necessary, coordinating compliance activities of the other departments
to remain abreast of the status of all compliance activities and to identify
trends

Job Responsibilities
As the Vice President of
Audit and Compliance at Hoboken University Medical Center, you will serve as Chairman of the organizationâs departmental
Compliance Workgroup Committee so as to: (1) ensure new/amended policies are
adopted and communicated as indicated by operational needs, by
regulatory/accrediting requirements, or by performance improvement, and (2)
ensure day-to-day organizational compliance requirements and objectives are
being fulfilled. You will also serve as the Hospitalâs Privacy
Officer, and as such, assume responsibility for all HIPAA privacy regulations
are followed.
Additional
responsibilities for the Vice President of Audit and Compliance include:
· Working with the Human Resource
Department and others as appropriate to develop an effective compliance
training program, including appropriate introductory and ongoing training
for all employees and managers
· Conducting informative departmental staff
meetings on a monthly basis, ensuring that 12 month of minutes are submitted
and that a majority of staff attends those meetings
· Ensuring that 100% of staff completes
required in-services and mandatory competencies.
· Developing accurate operational and
capital budgets, submitting them on time, monitoring expenses to assure budget
compliance within = or â" 5% adjusted for volume, and explaining variances
in budge to Administratorâs satisfaction within ten days of financial
report

As Vice President of

an atmosphere of good communication between staff within departments and with
other departments. You must also demonstrate effective verbal and written

· Masters degree in Hospital

The successful candidate will lead the definition, delivery and/or deployment phases of the Project Process. Analyze capacity planning across projects. Use influence to eliminate bottlenecks and potential resource alignment problems. Deliver projects to support the ability to achieve revenue targets in customer segments. Manage projects within Project Practice standards to time, quality and budget. Many different parts of the organization need to be involved to achieve goals, some may have conflicting priorities and working (cultural) practices are very different.
Defines, documents and executes projects of extreme high risk, complexity and visibility, actively participating in all phases of the project. Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the project. Drafts feasibility studies, risk assessments and statements of work. May develop or assist in developing business cases for large projects with significant impact to company goals. Responsible for producing all typical project documentation - detailed project plans, work plans, schedules, project estimates, conversion schedules, resource plans and status reports. Determines project methodology. Defines project scope and objectives.
Agrees terms of reference to enable costs, timescales and resource requirements for the successful completion of each project to be estimated.
Has responsibility to ensure project deliverables are demonstrably fit for purpose.
Gains commitments to ensure corrective actions are taken if costs, timescales or resources deviate from agreed tolerances.
Manages the change control procedure gaining agreement for revisions to the project from project stakeholders and ensure full impact of significant changes are understood by project stakeholders.
