Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Thinking
Be recognized as a respected partner to our business and technology clients by focusing on delivering superior release management value by translating strategies into plans that can be effectively executed
Actions:

Identify and communicate potential areas or improvement regarding the release management or CAI SDLC process
Implement quarterly platform reviews with SCM team
Business Results
Implementing thoughtful, and acceptable, solutions to business requirements while leveraging the CAI SDLC process as well as other documented processes to ensure that business deliverables are either met or exceeded. Challenge status quo and champion new ideas as necessary as a means to do things better.
Actions:
· Create, update and manage the annual LO release calendars
· Provide a single point of contact for all LO release cycles from code drop to production deployment
· Chair frequently scheduled release meetings with all release participants
· Communicate meeting notes and any issues to all release participants
· Facilitate deployment activities
· Track, escalate if required, and ensure resolution of any issues that may impact an LO release deliverable date
· Chair post LO deployment review meeting
· Maintain and control the Release Management Dashboard
· Manage assigned content distribution for MLD and GPC Core releases associated IDE, QA and Production environments
· Manage all Emergency Request Management items to a successful conclusion by involving all key stakeholders
People leadership
Work with CAI, GTI and Development Partners resulting in the development of a cohesive and informed release team to ensure that business deliverables are adhered to.

A Technology Delivery manages 60k to 5million dollar initiatives that include, but not limited to information technology implementations, testing, upgrades, conversion and recovery relating to corporate change initiatives that impact a single major business or function. Normally, initiatives limited in scope to department products, processes or functions although some may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications. All require cross-divisional coordination, communication, influence and negotiation. A Technology Delivery is responsible for analyzing present-state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation. Responsible for end to end requirements gathering and functionality. Develops and executes systems testing. Acts as a liaison between the business user groups and the technical systems groups. Will perform enhancements and may test in a OAT environment. May also include experience with configuration
management and associated technologies. May be referred to as Technical Delivery . Aptitude to learn and has good written and oral communication skills. Ran projects from start to finish.

Overview
Our client is seeking an individual who will manage, coordinate and
facilitate all Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity activities to
ensure continued operations, asset protection, and loss mitigation in the
event of disasters or other emergency situations that would disrupt normal
operations at the company's data centers and other facilities.
Responsibilities:
. Document, identify and prioritize critical business areas,
functions and applications including procedures for escalation, follow-up
and resolution of outstanding DR/BCP issues.
. Review, enhance and periodically update comprehensive DR
designs, plans, procedures and solutions for various emergency and
non-emergency scenarios for all personnel, technology assets and physical
locations
. Ensure that the proper planning and testing have been
carried out to facilitate the timely recovery to normal business operations,
including relocation to an alternate facility or failover procedures to a
secondary site, if necessary
. In the event of an outage, lead and coordinate
company-wide DR efforts and activities into an adequate recovery
environment.
. Perform normal departmental management activities, e.g.,
strategic planning, staff meetings, budget and resource allocation, status
reporting, etc.
. Assist internal audits in the development of appropriate
metrics needed to assess compliance with enterprise DR/BCP guidelines and
standards.
. Work with senior management and appropriate business units
to prioritize DR/BCP critical systems and initiatives and forecast spending
based on risk management assessments.
Required Skills and Experience:
. 20 + years of professional experience, including 5-10 years in
progressive roles in Disaster Recovery, business continuity planning,
auditing, and risk management, as well as contract and vendor negotiation
. Preferred career path in server or datacenter management moving
into business continuity role
. Experience in setting up enterprise Disaster Recovery, including
design, development, testing and implementation of comprehensive DR plans
and procedures
. Experience in managing a team, both direct reports and
shared/matrix environment
. Managed Healthcare/HIPAA industry experience is nice to have but
not critical
. Must be an intelligent, articulate and persuasive leader who can
serve as an effective member of the management team
. Able to communicate DR/BCP-related concepts to a broad range of
technical and non-technical staff

I am currently searching for a Executive Level Candidate to be a Senior Manager/Director level within IT but is a SME in FX systems. The hiring manager is more focused on solutions delivery within the FX product specialty and less so on specific technologies, they utilize Apama and Spectrum software. SME who will head up the FX team (3-5 people). Technology platform is not as important as knowledge of FX. Existing Technology Will be responsible for Global FX Systems from Order/Trade Execution to Back Office. My client is a global securities and investment banking firm, headquartered in midtown New York City, and provides clients with capital markets and financial advisory services.
