Sr Professional Services Procurement Negotiator
Location: Stamford, CT
contract to hire
Our client currently has a business critical need in Financial Operations,
specifically within Procurement. A full time employee will be resigning at
the end of March, there is a need to get someone in for this position ASAP.

Job Description
. Partner with Company Events' stakeholders worldwide, by leading
the negotiations of contract terms and conditions and Statements of Work
with third party vendors who provide a wide variety of products and services
to support the company's Events business.
. Ensure that the resulting deals provide good value for Company and
minimize company risks.
. Ensure that Events stakeholders and their third party vendors
learn, understand and follow company Procurement best practices, standards
and processes.
. Identify opportunities for policy and/or business process
improvements, and work with Procurement management and key Business Unit
stakeholders to help drive their implementation and adoption.
Job Requirements
* 10+ years of experience leading complex business and contract
negotiations from the customer perspective, with significant subject matter
expertise in a wide variety of professional services negotiations.
* Demonstrable experience, skill, knowledge and expertise in drafting,
reviewing, analyzing, deconstructing and negotiating contract terms and
conditions, primarily, but not exclusively in the area of professional
services agreements and statements of work. said experience, skill,
knowledge and expertise to be from the customer perspective.
* Significant experience providing Procurement support to business
stakeholders who host a wide variety of external Events.
* Significant experience negotiating contract and pricing terms and
conditions with hotels/venues.
* Excellent organization, time management and multitasking skills.
* Excellent written presentation skills; excellent communications
skills including excellent command of the English language, high proficiency
in MS Word and Excel.
* Ability to handle a heavy workload on a continuous basis, with
frequent need to negotiate with company BU stakeholders and vendors in
multiple locations around the world.
* Bachelor's Degree required.
* CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) certification is preferred.
* Travel required (>10-20%).
Most candidates they have found so far have been missing one of the
following things:
. Not enough contract review, redlining experience.
. Not enough procurement experience supporting events.
. Not looking to commute/relocate to Stamford.
. Needs the ability to interact with legal on contract issues that
are beyond ability/understanding.
. Need buy side contract experience, they are not interested in sell
side contract experience

Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer who will
maintain and support the company's network systems and infrastructure,
firewalls, routers, etc. to ensure 24x7x365 availability and performance.
The candidate will have good research and presentation skills, in addition
to an excellent understanding of, and proactive hands-on approach, towards
networking technologies and services as they apply to a busy ecommerce
website. The role involves regular interface with system users and
collaboration with technical teams therefore candidates must be
approachable, adaptable and have good communication skills, both written and
verbal.
Required Experience
. 3 years+ in a similar role
. The ideal person should have either CISCO, Juniper or an
equivalent experience.
. CCIE or equivalent or heavy Juniper experience is the most
important skill
. Knowledge of Juniper firewalls and routers running JunOS.
. Knowledge of Site to Site VPN
. Knowledge of networking technologies and routing protocols
including MPLS, OSPF, BGP
. Knowledge of switching (Cisco and Juniper)
. Knowledge of TCP/IP
. Work on own initiative with limited supervision
. Experience working in a Global organization
. Understanding and experience of Security issues
. Project lifecycle experience
. Solve difficult design issues, identifying technical solutions
. Experience of deployment of new hardware
. Upgrading OS images on network hardware
Desired Skills
. Experience within an E-Commerce, web-site/internet
environment
. Experience within a fast-moving, innovative or
commercial environment
. Knowledge of various operating systems (Windows /
Linux)
. Knowledge of Juniper IVE SSL VPN
. Knowledge of QoS
. Knowledge of Load Balancers (F5)
