The Scrum Team is a multi-functional team, responsible for the day-to-day activity of software development. Each Scrum team will be responsible for one or more lines of development[1]. In addition to the Software Engineers who perform actual code development, the Scrum team encapsulates the following stratified groups which cut across multiple Scrum Teams.
DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT

Commercial Tax Directors manage and supervise other team members. Directors must possess strong technical knowledge of corporate and partnership tax planning, consulting, compliance and provision work. In addition to the preparation and review of tax returns, Directors participate in identifying and communicating complex client issues to client senior management. Directors must have effective communication skills and strong written and oral presentation skills. Directors participate in business development and are responsible for assisting Managing Directors and/or directly managing client billing and collections.
REQUIRED:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting degree required;
* Advanced credential required (i.e. CPA or JD);
* At least 8 years relevant work experience with an accounting firm, including at least 4 years of Commercial experience, preferably with a public accounting firm;
* Experience in the following areas a plus: accounting for income taxes; corporate restructuring; choice of entity planning; foreign entity restructuring/planning; mergers and acquisitions; S corporation conversion;
* Strong technical knowledge of complex tax issues;
* Proven leadership and strong organizational skills;
* Proficient use of technology including MS Excel.
