Contract Data Architecture - Bridgewater, NJ

Posted by: "Keith Bogen" keith.bogen@yahoo.com   hrslugger2002

Thu May 14, 2009 3:35 pm (PDT)

My name is Joan Tannenbaum and I am a Senior Technical Recruiter with Paragon Computer Professionals. We have either spoken at some point in the past and/or I have recently reviewed your resume on the Internet, and am contacting you today as your experience in Data Architecture may be relevant to an immediate need I am recruiting for with Paragon's Professional Services practice, Paragon Solutions.

This position will be part of a Paragon awarded project for a major Pharmaceutical company based in the Bridgewater, NJ area.

Position Description:
Data Warehouse Architect
Required Skills: Oracle Database, ETL, SOA

Desired Skills: ADP Enterprise Version 5, Peoplesoft, Enterprise Services Bus (ESB)

Project Background and Job Description

Discussions are underway to migrate HR and Payroll systems into SAP environment by January 1, 2010. Affiliate companies do not get direct access to pull data from the SAP environment. Instead, created Subject Area Databases (SADs) to provide information. The SADs are updated on a nightly basis. The Workforce SAD contains the data related to Human Resources and Payroll. Affiliates subscribe to the appropriate SADs to pull information into local data marts or data warehouse environments.
Utilize a service-oriented architecture (SOA) using an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB). The event drivers will be defined by the business events - i.e. a new hire of a contractor. When a contractor is on-boarded, IT Operations group needs to set up accounts, provide hardware, set up an active directory, etc. Another example is an employee termination which requires that all IT accounts be end dated and the employee´s badge be deactivated on their last day of service. In essence the ESB services are more process driven.
A separate team will define the requirements for the SOA architecture and implement the ESB for this project to utilize in the June/July timeframe.
This solution must be operational and ready for production load on 11/1/2009, at which point the outbound interfaces to the downstream systems can be validated.
start date - 6/1/09
rate-55-75hr depending on level of experience

If you are available, interested, planning to make a change, or know of a friend who might have the required qualifications and interest, please call me ASAP at the appropriate number listed below, and/or e-mail me your resume at jtannenb@consultpar agon.com even if we have spoken recently about a different position. If you do respond via e-mail please include a daytime and/or evening phone number so I can reach you. In considering candidates, time is of the essence, so please respond ASAP. Thank you.
