Job Description A major foreign bank who has an office in Jersey City , New Jersey is looking for a Fixed Income Operations Developer. The main function of the Developer is SySTR development, testing and Support using Perl, Java, transact-SQL (Sybase) and shell scripting on UNIX plarform.
The main duties are to deliver functionality requested by the Application Manager. The following is included:
Rapidly learn SySTR and Omego applications Rapidly learn the investment Banking domain Low level design of solution Coding and unit testing of the solution Work with testers to verify the solution Rework defects and take part in defect analysis Production and User support
Skills Required A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Management or related discipline 4 years of IT work experience Must be good communicator, problem solver and a team player Investment banking experience Fixed Income settlements back office processing Must have experience with the following; Java ( 3+years), Sybase (3+years),Perl (2+years), Unix (2+years) C++ and MQ are preferred
Salary Range This is a position for an Assistant Vice President and will pay up to 144k
