Data Modeler (New York, NY)

Our Client, a fast paced, growing financial firm, is seeking an experienced individual to join their dynamic IT environment.

Data Modeler:

Strong expertise in design of large scale, high volume transaction data warehouse. Candidate must have experience building star schema data models or transaction management data model (conventionally referred to as OLTP data model)

Requirements:

Create multi dimensional data models
Experience designing transactional systems and data warehouses
Strong data architecture and data modeling skills
Logical model design using dimensional and ER
Solid understanding of data management and modeling standards using best practices for large sized environment
Experience with data analysis and enterprise data architecture
Design and implement a Data Warehouse initiative.
Analyze current data models and recommend table changes to align with business needs.

Desired Skills:

· Experience of metadata management is a plus

· Experience in using business requirements to produce a data model is a plus

· Any application migration data modeling is a plus
