CONTRACT - 6 MONTHS

Responsibilities :
Help architect reporting data model/tables, dimension, fact, summary, staging
Design and develop PL/SQL scripts
Performance tune PL/SQL scripts
Actively lead application design discussions, participate in project scoping and requirements, as required to guide project execution
Communicate effectively with staff and management on status, issues, risks, project goals and objectives
Act as emergency expert and `situation manager` during outages
Soft Skills
Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts
Strong understanding of dimensional models
Proficiency in SQL and working experience in ETL
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with demonstrated ability to take initiative
Life cycle experience in large data warehousing projects
Ability to analyze and solve problems and work with the team to identify and fix the root cause of the problems (be it data quality, performance, or programmatic)
Bachelors degree in business or an information technology-related field required
Required Skills
7+ yrs of IT experience
4+ years experience in IT management
5+ yrs experience working with dimensional databases
5+ yrs Oracle experience – SQL, PL/SQL
Must be expert with SQL and PL/SQL
1+ yrs experience in data profiling and analysis
1+ yrs experience with data cleansing
1+ years hands on experience with Informatica
Famili ari ty in ERwin
Experience with Business Objects Enterprise products
Previous large-scale project experience
