An industry friend of mine received an email from a recruiter indicating
that the following contract position is open. The recruiter asked him for
help looking for qualified applicants. The role does not fit my skill set.

The project is a combination of Data Warehousing and Reporting for the
launch of a new defined contribution business line. We will be working
with our parent company FASCore as the record keeper, other external
vendors, as well as clients internally for Putnam proprietary
information.

The Clients of the information will be both internal and external to
our client.

One business analysts will be focusing on the data requirements and
acquisition and the second will primarily focus on the design and
integration of reports for presentation on the web. Both positions will
require the analyst to manage their pieces through all stages of the
software development life cycle.

The candidates must have -

* Financial Systems background - preferably supporting the Defined
Contribution business
* Strong SQL knowledge
* Previous data warehousing experience is a plus:
o Oracle (10/11g)
o Informatica ETL
o Business Intelligence / Reporting
* Must have previous experience writing business requirements,
functional design documents and quality assurance test plans.
* Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
* Excellent organizational skills.

Location : Andover, MA

Expected Duration - 6-8 months.
