Senior Technology Officer

• Have overall budget responsibility for technology initiatives. Manage a budget and/or staff equivalent of over $5 million
• Manage a technologically diverse staff which includes employees, consultants and/or fixed price staff through direct / indirect subordinates
• Reports to VP and/or CIO.
Related responsibilities typically include the following:
• Oversee systems design, development, and systems maintenance across multiple platforms (e.g., mainframes, micros, and workstations).
• Partner directly with key business leaders and provides strategic system solutions to business initiatives.
• Consult with multiple business area management regarding technical alternatives or enhancements that are consistent with business strategy or industry practice and architecture guidelines.
• Provide overall guidance and direction to IT managers.
• Select and manage strategic vendors and outsourcing partners.
• Involved in technology investments, platform integration, systems architecture, and software integration.

• PMI Certification
• 15 years application development, including: 5 years experience in managing projects and staff, in-house development teams, and vendor supported applications
• Leadership, team building and coaching skills
• Relationship, project, and people management skills
• Analytical and technical skills
• Candidate should have the knowledge and/or experience in the following:
• SAP
• Computron Financial products
• Cognos 8 ePlanning

Senior Release Engineer

Here are the critical skills:
·         hands on release execution (including version control, deployment of web based applications with interfaces to other applications, database code delivery)
·         Initial application troubleshooting and issue identification (some development skills would be ideal)
·         script writing (specific to application build / deployment)
·         understand Oracle & SQL Server RDBMS, SQL and related database entities
·         ability to communicate technical issues with different individuals in development, infrastructure, DBA and quality assurance
·         Time Management
·         Agile project experience– Nice to have

The candidate will successfully demonstrate ability to execute and continuously improve the configuration and release management process used to install software into the Client Development Web-Based. Online and/or Fabrication System environments. Hands on skills are needed and follows as well as enforces documented Release Management and SDLC processes and guidelines to ensure product quality and operational stability. These activities are related to multiple web based projects in a complex environment consisting of Windows, Open Systems (Unix & Linux) and RDBMS (Oracle and SQL Server). This role proactively works to increase productivity of release management personnel through automation of the software build and delivery process.

The Release management team is responsible for delivering, maintaining and improving the build environment and deployment process using version management, configuration management, and staging and delivery tools. This person must possess the ability to effectively communicate with developers, Quality Assurance, DBA, infrastructure and management personnel. Must have experience in a fast paced culture deploying web-based applications to multiple platforms with complicated application interdependencies in a 24X7 production environment.

SAAS experience, perhaps in publishing or content management, legal experience a plus, broad and in-depth knowledge of Online and/or Fabrication system processes
Proven success in leading teams to accomplish objectives
