Design Applications Manager

Our client, an international architecture firm headquartered in New York City is seeking a Design Applications Manager with experience in the role to manage and support the design and CAD tools within the New York office, with additional management of Asia and London offices. Strong expertise and interest in CAD/BIM technologies, CAD, and 3D modeling is critical. The design applications include Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Inventor, McNeel's Rhino and Grasshopper, 3D MAX, vRay, Mental Ray, Solidworks, etc.

The overall responsibilities include managing and supporting the design software implementation of the firm, and includes the setup and optimizing of AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D design applications on projects, designing and reinforcing standards, all vendor and consultant interaction, and all software modifications, customization and maintenance.

Training users and coordinating training by outside consultants of our applications and best practices will be important, as well as monitoring and maintaining project standards throughout New York as well as the offices. Skills with developing and deploying custom design tools for our applications are important.

The applicant should be experienced with the following:

* Comfort with interacting with project teams and senior staff members
* Knowledge of Revit Architecture 2010-2011 including customization
* Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2010 including scripting and CUI
* Support of AutoCAD and CAD-related technologies
* General IT and desktop support skills
* Rendering technologies (MentalRay, vRay)
* Render server technologies
* Exposure to Rhino with Grasshopper experience
* Experience with the Revit API/UI/AutoLISP
* Familiarity with NavisWorks
* Budget creation and management

Skills Required:

* Bachelor's Degree in Architecture preferred
* 5-7 years experience in a similar position
* Strong skills with AutoCAD, especially with configuring and supporting these applications;
* AutoDesk Revit experience or other BIM technologies experience a very strong plus;
* All aspects of CAD problem-solving;
* Managing the organization and structure of CAD files in a professional environment;
* Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, and other CAD technologies
* Ability to script, program or otherwise customize AutoCAD and other design applications
* Experience with 3D modeling and parametric applications
* Coordinate and provide staff training as needed;
* Experience with Rhino, MAX, vRay, Grasshopper, Inventor and/or Generative Components a plus;
* Experience with the Windows environment

The Life Sciences Talent Bank Company
A diagnostics company located in the Philadelphia region is searching for an individual who will manage the planning, reporting and compliance of the Company's tax responsibility. Those responsibilities include federal, state and international taxes, preparation of the company's tax returns and supporting data collection packages. The Tax Manager will also interact with senior management, Company's audit firm and Japanese parent on all tax reporting, compliance and tax planning for significant and materials transactions.
ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
• Prepare the annual tax provisions for income taxes
• Prepare the tax footnotes in the annual report
• Prepare quarterly interim tax provision for financial reporting
• Prepare the quarterly estimated tax payments for federal and state taxes
• Prepare all federal and state return extensions
• Analyze any tax to return differences and record the true up adjustment to the financials
• Prepare the consolidated tax return and provision work papers with supporting data (i.e. Data collect packages for returns), in a format acceptable to the Company's audit firm
• Sales and use tax reporting and payments
• Complete annual FIN 48 analysis and review of uncertain tax positions
• Responding to tax notices
• Responding to request from partners for tax certifications for treaty benefits
• Handle the Company's deferred compensation program
• Handle international tax issues
• Ad hoc analysis as required
• Follows all company environmental, health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines and conducts work in a safe manner
• Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

The qualified candidate will have 3-5 years corporate tax management experience for federal and state taxes; B.S. in Accounting or related discipline required; CPA preferred; PC proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint; expert knowledge level of financial reporting of income taxes and tax return preparation and filing; full understanding of GAAP; ability to communication with senior management, audit firm and Japanese parent company (ability to speak Japanese would be a plus, but is NOT required).

managers, people that can hunt and cold call and build territory in Project

Job Title: Director – Business Development
Division: Consulting Division

Basic Purpose
Responsible for creating business relationships and generating sales leads with
high-level contacts often through face-to-face and client site visits in the
assigned region.

- Maintains an ongoing business relationship with current industry clients
to facilitate future sales.

- This position closes sales, even large and complicated projects and
solutions sales.

- Incentives tied to resulting sales per commission plan.
- Familiar with company's strategic direction, major initiatives and areas
of investment over the next 12 – 18 months.

- Craft solutions leveraging all service capabilities with client
directional needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Business Development
- Map the account - build client relationships at the "C" level and with
hiring managers who purchase IT consulting services to maximize requirement
opportunities
- Follow up on warm leads, convert hot leads into sales
- Build the solutions business through the selling of onshore & offshore
projects and solutions
- Build a sales pipeline for offering project based services
- Refer professional services sales
- Become thoroughly familiar with client systems and processes
- Make Cold calls to create new opportunity pipeline
Marketing
- Develop tailored marketing programs to increase awareness of all service
capabilities with prospects and clients
- Prepare proposals
- Participate in a lead role in sales presentations
- Conduct client meetings to build and maintain relationships
