Pharmaceutical company in Parsippany is looking for a Project Manager to work in the Financial Investments department with financial projects.
This consultant will be charged with the following responsibilities (but not limited to):
Lead the planning and implementation of project
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
Define project tasks and resource requirements
Assist development of full scale project plans
Assemble and coordinate project staff
Plan and schedule project timelines
Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
Constantly monitor and report on progress of all projects to all stakeholders and upper management
Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
University degree or college diploma, MBA preferred
Successful candidate will possess at a minimum:
3+ years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Flexibility during times of change
Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments
Ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise
Strong written and oral communication skills
