Seeking a Build Engineer for the following - Main job function is to execute clearcase and perl scripts to build ClientDirect Classic as well as other products we have. Should be a clearcase wiz. and also have some development experience in either java or .net/asp. The successful candidate will manage and support numerous initiatives, including but not limited to: · Learn industry best practices centered around best in class products (Team track, PVCS, Clearcase, WebSphere application Developer, TFS) ·Create and develop build and deployment processes for a global development projects. ·Run builds and debug build problems for a medium size development organization. ·Automate and improve the build process to ensure the timeliness and quality of builds in the environment.
1. Must be able to guide development in labeling and branch.
2. Prior experience writing build document using clear, precise terms
3. Able to work independently with a minimum amount of supervision.
4. Quick study.
5. Hands on experience writing Maven and/or Ant Scripts
6. Proficient in UNIX packaging (pkgmk, pkgadd and pkgrm)
7. Prior experience administrating Cruise_Control
8. 2 Years of Java Development experience (ability to address Java compile errors)
9. Significant experience (extremely strong) UNIX Shell and Perl scripting
10.Exposure to Python Scripting is a strong plus.
11.Basic knowledge of Web Servers is required. Need to understand how applications are deployed to these products)
12.Experience with Configuration Management tool (like Clear case / TFS) and should be able to guide Development team in labeling , branching Clear case Multisite Administration
13.Must be able to work in either Jersey City and Warren NJ.
