"Everything you always wanted to know about job search but didn't know who
to ask!"
Most job seekers are plagued by doubts at some point in their search.
Whether it's "adjusting" the dates on your resume to the timing of your
follow-up calls, wouldn't it be great if there was someone you could ask?
Here's your chance.
On October 14th, Ron Katz, the author of Someone's Gonna Get Hired...It
Might As Well Be You! will be meeting with the Northern Fairfield
Professionals to answer your questions.
Should I have an Objective, a Summary, or the newly popular Value Statement?
When's the best time to bring up salary? What should I do if I'm asked for a
figure?
Can my resume be more than one page?
Is social networking really effective? Which site should I be on?
How can I network more effectively?
Am I ever going to find a job?
These are just examples of the kinds of questions Ron's been asked and will
answer at the October meeting. You are encouraged to bring your questions
to this open forum style session. Or e-mail them to Ron in advance at
Ron@SGGH.net. The focus this month is on you. What you want to know, what
you want to talk about.
ALL IN ATTENDENCE ARE ENTERED TO WIN a copy of Ron's book that will be given
as a door prize at the end of the night. Copies will be available for
purchase for those who are not the lucky winner.
Please email any questions to NFP@itechcp.com .
