v International Manufacturer of Consumer Packaged Goods seeks a Director Lean /
Continuous Improvement to be based at their New Jersey Corporate Headquarters.

* The Director will be responsible for defining and applying Lean /
Continuous Improvement strategies throughout the various manufacturing
sites.

* Will review the current key performance metrics, insuring that a
sufficient level of Kaizen activity is occurring across the various sites
and facilitate events as necessary, benchmarking Best Practice companies
and training the work force in Lean methods.

Ø Be responsible for creating Lean Teams at the various manufacturing sites and
coach, mentor, provide direction, educate, motivate, and oversee these teams in
the performance improvement process to increase manufacturing effectiveness
across production operations (processing / packaging) and facilitate change as
necessary to meet company objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Require a BS degree, engineering preferred, with minimum 10 years
experience in Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement preferably with a
consumer packaged goods company such as foods, beverages, household
products, personal care, toiletries, cosmetics, etc.

* Other related industries will be considered.
* Should have prior experience with Kaizen Planning and Facilitation
combined with tools such as Value Stream Mapping, SMED, TPM, Root Cause
Analysis, 5S, OEE, etc.

* Require strong interpersonal, influencing and leadership skills.
* Domestic travel will be around 20-30%.
