·                     Migrate PayPal to the CIO/OFT production environment.

Job Summary:
Responsible for leading IT project teams to accomplish project objectives and ensure that projects are completed in scope, on time and within budget, following EdisonLearning¡¦s project management methodology, standards, tools, processes and reporting mechanisms.

Main Responsibilities:

„« Project Planning and Execution: Assist in the preparation of project charters and related cost estimates as requested to obtain project approval. Develop Work Breakdown Structures from scope documents. Prepare resource loaded, critical path schedules Provide direction and support to the project team members to ensure projects are executed and completed in accordance to the expectations of senior management. Establish a common understanding of project timelines, milestones, and expectations on delivery using Project Management Plans using PMO templates. Drive appropriate business decisions within the team. Effectively manage project communications, meetings and documentation. Manage vendors to conform to contract requirements.
„« Monitoring and Tracking: Identify, track and manage action items as needed for each assigned project or program. Manage schedule, scope and budget changes per PMO processes. Prepare status reports and metrics for management. Responsible for the documentation of customer acceptance of project deliverables.
„« Scope and Budget Management: Identify and manage scope changes and project issues, recommend appropriate action, and implement recommendations or escalate issues as needed to avoid delay or other impact to delivery. Validate the scope documents mapping to elicited requirements. Estimates resources, based on Work Packages. Develop and manage project budget based on Work Breakdown Structure.
„« Risk Analysis and Management: Conduct risk analysis, develop appropriate action plans to address and track risks against progress. Partner with project team and clients to identify and select solutions that maintain quality.

Internally: Able to develop strong cross functional relationships and credibility within EdisonLearning across all functional departments. Works closely with project team members as assigned.
Externally: May oversee consultants and/or vendors performance to ensure completion of project milestones.

Background

„« Minimum 5 years project management experience on IT related projects such as implementation of new enterprise wide systems, LAN/WAN networks, data centers and client or business start-up and contract completion.
„« PMP Certification highly preferred
„« Understands industry PM practice standards
„« Demonstrated results in creating and managing complex project plans, including experience in budgetary management (over $2,000,000 in budget) and timely completion (over two years in length)
„« Deep understanding of risk management inclusive of root cause analysis
„« Prior experience providing counsel and management support to client teams and executives strongly preferred
„« Experience collaborating with wide range of key stakeholders to identify process bottlenecks and organizational inefficiencies in order to execute process improvement and manage change appropriately
„« Demonstrated expertise in project planning (development of comprehensive Project Management Plans), resource management and tracking, including the ability to create resource loaded schedules with optimized critical paths with what/if scenarios
„« Experience developing practice standard based Work Breakdown Structures to the Work Package Level
„« High degree of technical software skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite, with particular emphasis on MS Project & Visio
„« Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
„« Bachelor¡¦s degree required
