The candidate will also be required to manage the lifecycle of the HP laptops and desktops and Apple MAC platforms. The candidate will also work with client business units and peers to ensure that the hardware meets the needs of the business. This candidate will also be responsible for Operating system integration and developing and maintaining the global image catalog. This candidate must have a strong knowledge of the MS Operating System ranging from Windows XP through Windows 7. This role will include developing the Global architecture for PC's at the Operating System level. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for maintaining the Global distributed Technologies Lab infrastructure. Creating a check in check out process for lab machines needed during UAT and Engineering efforts. A working knowledge of Virtual machine technologies is a must. The candidate will be responsible for tracking lab assets and making sure the lab is available at all times.
