We are seeking an experienced SharePoint 2010 Web Designer/Developer for development of both Intranet and Extranet Portals. - BS Degree - 5+ Years of Experience - Responsibilities include design & development of portal web applications based on the SharePoint 2010 platform. This position requires anticipating user requirements and rapidly developing SharePoint based solutions that include custom, professional quality user interfaces. - Proven experience developing custom, professional quality user interfaces for SharePoint solutions is a must! - Developing and maintaining a SharePoint 2007 and 2010 portal. - Develop and support business functions including assisting with training content development. - Designing portal components (Visual Web Parts) - Extensive VB.Net and ASP.Net experience - Customizing, integrating with third party solutions, and implementing an Enterprise SharePoint solution. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues - Document Management experience is a must REQUIRED SKILLS - BS Degree - At least five years related experience with web design and development experience. - Recent experience within SharePoint 2007/2010 using SharePoint Designer and SQL Server 2005/2008, one or more published websites that we can view would be a distinct bonus. - Should be familiar and competent with Visual Studio 2008/2010, ASP.net, Visual Basic, graphical applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and/or the Microsoft Expressions range of products. - Familiarity with AJAX, JavaScript, Flash. - Workflow, particularly Nintex would be a significant bonus as would experience with AvePoint DocAve and the Telerik controls library. - Excellent documentation skills are essential as well as an ability to communicate clearly with the business users.
