o Waltham-based NetProspex Raises $1.4 Million in Equity Investment

Waltham, Mass. – NetProspex, a privately held, Waltham-based provider of
business directories, has raised $1.4 million in an equity investment deal,
according to a new filing by the company with the Securities and Exchange
Commission. NetProspex was founded in 2006. The company's core product line
overlays user-contributed contact information with layers of quality control
to produce sales and marketing contact databases. . NetProspex said it had a
600% increase in website traffic in the past year and revenue increase of
100%.

o Boston-based Apperian Raises $1 Million in Deal Led by Common Angels

Boston – Apperian, a Boston-based developer of applications for the iPhone,
has raised $1 million in an investment round led by Common Angels, according
to published reports. Apperian's founders came from Apple's Enterprise
Professional Services Team and System Engineering Group. The company focuses
on helping organizations use the iPhone to reach mobile consumers.

o Nashua-based iSyndica Raises $350,000 in First Round

Nashua, N.H. – iSyndica, the Nashua-based developer of a digital media
distribution platform, announced on Monday that it has raised an initial
$350,000 in its first round of venture capital. Investors in the deal
include Jayesh Parekh, founder of Sony Entertainment Television, and Greg
Blackwood, a veteran Pan-Asia investment professional. iSyndica's
distribution platform allows photographers and video producers to manage and
distribute their portfolios on the web. Its "software-as-a-service" offering
is built on Amazon Web Services technology.
