Software Engineer
*Project Summary:*

Boston Fixed Income development division of Thomson Reuters seeks
intelligent, driven software engineers to develop next generation systems.

The qualified individual will have a proven track record delivering high
quality results, while thriving in a fast paced environment. The individual
will be responsible for all aspects of software engineering, from design
through deployment.

*Essential day to day responsibilities:*

- Interpret business requirements and work with the team to develop
functional documentation and technical specifications.
- Design and develop new solutions utilizing a wide range of
technologies.
- Delivery of maintainable, extensible solutions that meet business
requirements in a timely fashion with minimal defects
- Full life cycle software development from initial requirements through
deployment including documentation and maintenance

*Education requirement:*

§ BA or BS

*Skills candidate should already possess:*

§ Asp .NET

§ C#

§ .Net Framework

*Required skills:*

- Expert in C# XML, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a plus
- Experience writing web applications using the .Net Framework
- ASP .NET
- .NET Web Services
- Windows Applications
- Familiarity with relational database design, SQL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Any financial industries experience a plus. Fixed income experience a
PLUS!
- Must be able to work in a team or independently

- Minimum 3 years

*Nice to have:*

- Any type of natural language process or semi structured data process
experience
- Financial Software Experience (Fixed Income)
