Resiliency is a skill that we need to cope with obstacles - and it's a skill that anyone can master. By practicing 7 key skills you will be able to bolster optimism, overcome negative self-criticism, take chances, and navigate turbulence in your personal and professional lives.
- Self-discovery. The 7 major factors that contribute to the development and strengthening of resilience. An opportunity to learn about yourself and determine your relative strengths and weaknesses.
- How resilient are you? Take resiliency self assessment. Once you know how strong you are on the seven resiliency factors, you'll know which seven skills you need most.
- Laying the groundwork for meaningful change.
- You are what you think learn how to interpret events accurately.
- Learn a simple methodology that will help you stay positive.
Resiliency is key to success at work and personal lives. The good news is that we can strengthen our resiliency and impact our lives in very positive life changing ways.
SPEAKER
Meg Paradise, M.A. is an Educator, Consultant and Designer of Leadership Initiatives. She designs, develops, and presents leadership initiatives that drive business transformation for corporate, academia, and government clients in US and Beijing, China. Meg has a Master's Degree in Organizational Behavior and Leadership.
Meg leads the Women's Initiative at J.H. Cohn, ranked one of the top fifteen accounting firms in the country. This Women's Initiative was awarded the "Best Women's Initiative in 2008" by the Garden State Woman Foundation.
