POSITION: Quality Center QTP
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Quality Center QTP
Designs software QA methods and procedures for use by QA and development staff to ensure all information systems meet minimum company standards and end user requirements
- Develop QA test plans and project staffing estimates
- Work closely with the other members of the Development Team and Marketing to review the designs of systems, implement test plans, and test the quality of software products.
- Assemble and build software projects and installation packages.
- Work closely with the Development team to insure the effectiveness and quality of the components and systems developed
- Work closely with the Documentation team to insure the content is meaningful and correct
- Communicate with customers regarding installation issues and software defects
BS in Computer Science, MIS, business or equivalent education/training/experience
Experience of reporting tools / reports testing - Crystal Reports, Business Object, advanced SQL usage
Experience of UNIX servers - full awareness of OS and variety of commands, ability to read and test UNIX shell scripts
Telecoms business knowledge
Developing and executing quality assurance test scripts, tests plans and checklists
Application of software development life cycle concepts
Experience of UNIX servers - full awareness of OS and variety of commands, ability to read and test UNIX shell scripts
Experience of advanced SQL is a must.
4 years of experience in Performance testing/tuning Java based API's.
Strong knowledge in developing LoadRunner scripts.
Experience in developing Radview scripts and testing Flex based applications is an added advantage.

Technical Writer - Pharmaceutical - Northern New Jersey

We are looking for a person with a strong technical writing background. The main task for this person is to develop scripts and perform other project coordination tasks. The person will writing test scripts and documents 70% of the time and 30% helping with other Disaster Recovery tasks. A strong technical writer with flexibility, should be familiar with fundamental concepts of infrastructure / application testing. Any validation in a pharma industry is a plus, good documentation practices and ability to communicate and follow directions.
Technical:
IT project experience: * awareness of project life cycle & / or validation a plus
Some level of knowledge of Disaster recovery is a plus
Must be familiar with use of IT templates - in a Pharmacutical context
Has excellent written communications skills
Good documentation practices

Leading telecommunications organization is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst with state and local tax experience to join their team at their headquarters in Philadelphia, PA
In this role, the candidate will be responsible for:
o Projects include assisting with sales/use & telecomm tax audits, research, compliance and billing systems support.
o Interfacing with internal teams regarding sales/use and telecomm tax issues.
o Research and response to tax notices or issues from tax jurisdictions or vendors.
Requirements
o Undergraduate degree in accounting.
o Strong PC skills including high level of proficiency with Excel and Access; Vertex experience preferred.
o Highly detail oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.
o Strong work ethic and is a self-starter.
o Must have 3-5 years sales/use tax or telecomm tax experience.
o Big 4 background preferred.

CGS is recognized as a leading provider of IT professional staffing and end-to-end technology solutions to companies whose own vision is to be leaders in their respective fields.
The primary purpose of this position is to identify, research, and provide technical solutions for hardware, software and telephony related issues reported to the Central Service. The Service Center Specialist provides basic root cause analysis and general reporting on issues to management and the entire user community.
Responsibilities:
Primary contact for users calling into the Service Center. Responsible for handling voice and online communication of incident and system requests.
Performing initial diagnosis and incident resolution.
Identify, categorize, and assign severity to issues.
Provide support to Company business channels on hardware, software and telephony related issues.
Use a variety of resources to obtain resolution.
May route call to another experienced team member, or other IT areas for appropriate resolution.
Document all incidents into the service management system.
Perform basic trouble shooting and problem resolution analysis including root cause analysis of data to be reported to management and the user community.
May perform follow up with customer to confirm resolution.
May participate in IT projects including equipment moves and location expansion.
Participate in the yearly IT Business Recovery test.
Train users in SR forms and other how-to procedures.
Communicate status and follow up with customers.
Dispatch vendors for incidents (under contract agreement)
Qualifications
Must have a good understanding of personal computers, printers and peripherals
Must have a good understanding of Microsoft PC operating systems
Must have excellent telephone, listening and communication skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Must effectively and efficiently communicate with all levels of employees
Good problem solving ability
Must have ability to work collaboratively
Must be customer focused
Must demonstrate strong follow-up and follow through abilities with a sense of urgency
Must demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments
Available to work flexible shifts that may include nights\weekends to support 24 hour operations with a two month rotation
Preferred Qualifications
Technology support background
Multi-lingual is a plus
Call Center experience
Experience developing written processes and procedures
Good understanding of the single-point-of-contact (SPOC) support model
MAC support background
Assignment Length: 6-12 Months
Rate: $25 hr.
Location Central NJ
