Bernards Township Library, 32 South Maple Avenue, Basking Ridge, NJ
Please feel free to pass this onto others.
"Special Speed Networking Event"
Join us Thursday, September 16th for a special event. Instead of our
standard format, John Hadley will share simple tips for networking, and
guide us through a series of speed networking mini-meetings.
Networking is a key life skill that provides you access to new
perspectives and resources you can draw on throughout your career, and
is absolutely critical to an effective job search. However, many of us
don't know how to do it well, and therefore find it uncomfortable.
John will provide pointers you can apply on the spot to create a fun and
productive evening.
The speed networking will be conducted in a fashion similar to speed
dating, where attendees are first paired and then rotated to a new
partner every few minutes. Our goal is to equip and encourage you to
proactively build a powerful network to accelerate your job search,
career or business development.
Don't forget to bring a name tag, and a supply of business cards!
MODERATOR
JOHN HADLEY coaches job seekers frustrated with their search, providing
marketing skills to land the job and pay they deserve. He is a popular
speaker for career and business groups, and produces Career Tips, which
each month brings marketing advice to over 8,000 readers. Find out more
