John,
This should show more details of the technical side of the software development I've done at Verizon. Please let me know if this is sufficient.
Thank you!

Has anyone ever thought of going to SAS? I did an internship at IBM in Raleigh, NC back in college. And while there I heard some very good things about SAS in that area. I don't know if anyone has any interest in doing this but it would be a good look.

Job Fair - 9/15/10
Posted by: "robertjzanfardino" zanfardino4@earthlink.net robertjzanfardino

Folks,
This will be the final reminder regarding the Job Fair sponsored by the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce to be held on 9/15/10 at 9:00.
The number of hiring employers is approximately 35 at this time, and more may be added by the day of the event.
Remember even if you do not see the company you may wish to apply to, H/R managers do speak to one another and your name may get passed around. This is also a great opportunity to network with other networkers from several regions.
The event is free to all but due to the expected crowd we are asking you to register for the speakers forum to be held at 10:00.
For further information please go to the chamber website: http://www.dutchesscountyregionalch and look for the Work Local First Eventamber.org/
Any additional questions please call the chamber at 845-457-1700 ext 1000.
Regards,
Rob

There is a networking group that meets at Temple Bethel in Stamford. I found it to be an informative meeting and met many good contacts there.

Questions to ask the interviewer

Saw these at http://jobsearch.about.com/ and wish I had had them in my back pocket during at a recent interview. I listed the most relevant:?nl=1
* How would you describe the responsibilities of the position?
* How would you describe a typical week/day in this position?
* Is this a new position? If not, what did the previous employee go on to do?
* What is the company's management style?
* Who does this position report to? If I am offered the position, can I meet him/her?
* How many people work in this office/department?
* How much travel is expected?
* Are there any other questions I can answer for you?
