[image: Resume Mistakes]<http://www.elabs6.com/c.html?rtr=on&s=7cmnd,fvry,pzd,drrw,d6tu,766,iyry>As
a Career Consultant, I work with clients on all the tools and techniques
that are needed to succeed in the job search – including interviewing
skills. One thing I have noticed over the years is that candidates often get
"trapped" in certain interview questions that are designed to make them say
something negative or self-defeating (which generally leads to rejection).
Indeed, job-seekers are not even aware of how negative many of their answers
sound at interviews! So, I instruct all my clients to "never say anything
negative, or anything that could possibly be construed as negative!"
Candidates can avoid being disqualified by stating all their answers in
positive (or, at least, neutral) terms.

Career Transition Partnership Launch: Join a faith-based effort to build our
region’s workforce . . . together

Date: September 23, 2010

Time: Doors open at 6:00p; Event ends at 9:00p

Place: Barry Brown Health Education Center, 106 Carnie
Boulevard, Voorhees, New Jersey

This country is experiencing unprecedented economic conditions â€" severe
unemployment combined with a new class of underemployed workers and
businesses postponing hiring and growth.

1 + 1 = 1

CTP began as two local churches attempting to individually mitigate the
unemployment crisis by offering free job search assistance to their
parishioners.

2 + 1 > 3

After informally collaborating with Virtua Health Services, these churches
increased their ability to educate more people and provide more resources.
We evolved as a result into a stronger organization that unites volunteers
from business, industry, social services, charities, and faith communities
with those in career transition.

> 3 + n = ∞

We are now poised to enlist sponsors, partners, and members to assist us in
expanding the scope of this vital cause well beyond where we are today. The
need is great . . . and the opportunities to make a difference are infinite
with your help. Discover how you can contribute by attending this special
event.

CTP invites you to a free celebration of its official launch. Everyone is
welcome â€" job seekers, job holders, faith-based group representatives,
business owners, community leaders, Human Resource and recruiting
professionals, networkers.

Meet and hear from CTP Board Members, community advocates, business leaders,
and civic organizations. The program includes a keynote address, a panel
discussion of strategies to collectively address the unemployment crisis,
networking, and refreshments.

Forward this invitation to friends, family, and colleagues. Become a
supporter!
