Below is the job description for our current job opening located in Jersey City, NJ:

Duration: 6 Month contract Right to Hire Situation

Description:

To support IT Operations through: the management of IT Central Software Budget process (Annual Software budget, Monthly accruals, Quarterly Accruals and daily purchase requests and disbursements; supporting the Central Software Inventory Control process

Required Skills: BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience is a minimum requirement;
Accounting background (CPA certification preferred);
Ability to manage a budget and financial reporting
Previous experience managing corporate asset accounting ledger
Previous experience managing vendor relationships preferred

Requirements: Manage annual and monthly Lights On Budget and coordinate with IT Finance ·
Ensure software maintenance payments are paid on-time and coordinated with the IT finance group ·
Monitor and analyze identification and tracking software maintenance cost savings through vendor discounts, discontinue use of licenses, support negotiations of contracts at renewal time Develop Client metrics that can be tracked and produce the corresponding reports, including Budget to Actual Variance Analysis.

Responsibilities: Assist with the management of IT Central Software Budget process (Annual Software budget, Monthly accruals, Quarterly Accruals and daily purchase requests and disbursements);
Assist internal clients with appropriate procurements of software (type, quantity, license scope);
Monitor, reconcile and manage adherence to the agreed maintenance and support pricing according to contracts;
Coordinate with IT Finance Group for effective management of annual and monthly Lights On Budget;
Ensure software maintenance payments are accurate and timely
Support Development and Maintenance of accurate Software Inventory and Asset Management
