JFYI, WNET is in the process of moving their offices to Worldwide Plaza, 50th & 8th, but probably won't happen until Feb/Mar.

Special Alert:
Seeking Marketing Pros...
Agency & Business Development Experience

Hello All,

For some time now, one of our prominent clients has asked us to search for
classic CPG trained marketing professionals who come from the client
side--the Krafts, General Foods, J&Js, etc.

There are many great women in our network who have this background--but the
catch is this client is also asking for strong business development skills.
In fact, business development is a big part of the job. And after trying to
find a needle in a haystack for many moons, we are now redirecting our
search to the agency side where business development is more likely to come
into play.

In a nutshell, there are two critical types of experience we're seeking:

* Significant (at least 8 to 10 years) of solid experience (preferably
CPG focused but healthcare is also a hot button) at prominent marketing or
management consulting firms. This experience needs to be chunks of time at
one or two firms-not a year here and there. And your expertise should be
squarely marketing strategy-not advertising, public relations. promotions or
market research.
* A track record of business development success opening doors to
top-tier CPG, financial services, technology or healthcare clients. This
means that you do not have to actually give the presentation and land the
business--you just need to open the door and get the meeting--and there are
generous rewards for doing so. The firm has target prospects, but you should
have a robust network of connections, too.

Candidates can't have one or the other--both are essential and of equal
weight. If this is your fundamental profile, and you're interested in a
permanent position working on site at a small, well regarded, Fairfield
County, CT firm with lots of growth potential, please send me your resume.
And along with your resume send very specific details on your business
development activity and achievements. We will definitely have a
conversation, but I first need to see evidence of your business development
success in black and white.

This is one notch down from a partner level position, and it's possible to
work less than full-time (about 30 hours). Occasional work at home would be
an option but not a regular arrangement. And returning professionals are
welcome candidates.

If you do not fit the profile I've described, please pass this note on to
other women in your personal and professional networks who do! We look
forward to hearing from you very soon.

Best regards,

Kathryn Sollmann
