Happy Holidays!
I hope this email finds you well. I want to stay in touch since I landed a position in 2006 with your support.
I am still a Kelly Scientific recruiter (of Kelly Services) and for the past 1.5 years I have focused on sourcing/hiring scientists to work at the NIH in Maryland and North Carolina. This particular Kelly branch is Kelly Government Solutions and we are on site at the NIH in Bethesda, Maryland. It's very exciting and very busy. Since we are not government run, we are not affected by the "freeze". I wish I could offer everyone I know positions but still only biology types of positions have come through the pipeline. Lately I've also had clinical and clinical-regulatory types of positions as well.
I still have my home outside of Maryland and return on weekends and holidays to enjoy it and friends/activities. During the week I live in Maryland. Living in the DC area during the weekdays is very popular since many positions with the government are long term but contract (ie, our NIH contract positions are "open ended"). Our branch now has 1500 contract employees working at the NIH.
I've been recruiting scientists with Kelly for almost 5 years now since the Merck restructure.
I still enjoy charity work: I knit hats, scarves, and blankets for the needy which I find very relaxing.

Description

They currently have 3 contract to hire opportunities for Sr. Software
Engineers. Join a team of leading i5 analysts and developers that performs
analysis, design, development and testing of a variety of i5 applications,
including both third-party and customized in-house solutions, in the company’s
Supply Chain Management (SCM) department. Design and implement application
solutions and database modifications in the functional areas of order
processing, inventory management, financials, merchandising, and fulfillment.
Create specialized reporting and integrations to/from other internal systems and
