BS in Computer Science or Information Systems, 5 year minimum experience, MS Office, excels at analysis, familiar with Software Development Life Cycle, SQL query building, Oracle experience preferred, 10% travel possible.
Job Summary:
Defines solutions (requirements, designs, services, recommendations) to business/systems problems and owns the integrity of the solution through customer acceptance and final disposition of solution. Responsible for the development, maintenance, management, and delivery of technical information or documentation to the appropriate audiences in the appropriate PepsiCo standard formats. Includes interface with management, users, and information technology professionals to create high-level conceptual solutions to business problems. Usually possesses significant knowledge in one or more business functional areas.
Participates in detailed studies and analysis of system requirements and recommends specific solutions to business problems. Analyzes system development opportunities by gathering data, reviewing company operations, evaluating alternative methods, and preparing time estimates according to project guidelines. Assists in the assessment and documentation of business opportunities, benefits, risks, and success factors of potential applications.
General Deliverables:
Owns accountability for all process deliverables against deploy or sustain requirements.
Acts as a subject matter expert in his/her process area; knowing the business and the solutions around it
Designs and owns the process architecture and application specs using standard BIS tools (example ARIS, etc.)
Works closely with the continuous improvement to provide proactive enhancements to the deployed solutions
Ensures deployed functionality is maintained and used
Typical Accountabilities:
Leads business process design including data definitions, hierarchies and standards
Supports and guides Process Enablement team, acts as the main process escalation point enabling effective prioritization of the Continuous improvement requests
Pro-actively facilitates cross-functional integration with other relevant areas
Conducts design reviews in support of the implementation of an SAP module and assures alignment with the long term Enterprise roadmap; designs based on previous One Up release design work, takes into account the unique requirements of the various client groups
Reviews end-to-end solution papers and provides feedback and consulting support to the Process Team
Executes configuration across SAP clients and phases of the project
Escalates and facilitates resolution of design solution gaps
Provides input into the development of project work plans, proactively identifies, logs, communicates and addresses issues
Communicates effectively within and across teams
Documents end-to-end descriptions of all activities
Facilitates requirements gathering sessions with the business SMEs
Assists with gaining realization sign-off from the business SMEs
Assists with defining test conditions and test cycles for system testing
Conducts integration testing and document and resolve issues
Assists with gaining formal acceptance of solution at the end of User Acceptance Test
Completes RICEF FD/FMDs on time and provides support to technology team during development
Enables effective, efficient working relationship with the technology teams
Documents detailed business process procedures (BPPs)
Stays up-to-date with technology and industry trends by proactively participating in self-study, conferences, webcasts, user group participation, reading or other relevant means
Skill Level:
Requirements definition and traceability 5+ years
CPG experience 3+ years Experience
BSA experience (Data and Systems analysis)
Served as "lead" BSA on multiple project lifecycles; Significant experience in industry (3+ years)
QA and testing phase experience
5+ years of project experience in the quality assurance and testing phases or projects
Deep knowledge of diverse technologies and new and current architectures
Skills in object, data, and / or process modeling, business process design (5yrs.+)
Excellent – strategic application of experience; Demonstrated experience leading requirements, data and systems analysis
3+ years experience with COTS implementations
Outstanding negotiation, facilitation, and consensus building skills
Ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels (Executive Sponsors to team members); Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical individuals
Job Description: Analyst will be responsible for converting legacy masterfile and historical data to current software data design. Configuration and repair of hierarchial data structure based on possible location moves from one group to another. Work closely with business, vendors and IT partners. 5 year analysis experience required.
