Web Job Description

Our well known Fairfield County client has an immediate need for a Senior Project Manager to manage a variety of projects with a particular focus on data center initiatives, including servers, databases, SAN, networking, OS technologies etc. In this role, you will define project objectives, obtain resource commitments and validate business requirements. Additionally, you will develop the detailed project plan, develop and document acceptance criteria and define metrics to measure project success.

Required Skills

This is a very senior role and requires a minimum of 7 years of project management experience and a broad-based knowledge of overall system and network architecture and technologies To succeed in this role you must have a strong and working knowledge of hardware, software and operating systems including UNIX, Windows 2000/2003, Open VMS, Oracle, Desktop Technologies, WAN/LAN networking, DNS, SAN, F5, Firewalls, Proxy Servers, TCP/IP, Cisco Product line, Network and System Security concepts This role will require presenting ideas, concepts and projects to Sr management so presentation and facilitation experience is required. Project planning is done using MS Project so the selected candidate will have at least 3 yrs experience with the software. Additionally, the role requires a candidate with broad experience managing multiple projects concurrently, including budgeting, forecasting and capitalization.

DETAILS:

As a Senior Active Directory Engineer, will support and maintain a
high-availability Active Directory Environment consisting of multiple Forests
running a mix of NT, 2003, and 2008 Servers.

Will also participate in a rotating 7x24 on-call rotation to respond to
escalated AD incidents.

Function will be in the 2nd-3rd level support having constant communications
with back line engineering, vendors and clients in accordance with documented
processes and procedures. In this role, he/she will perform troubleshooting and
root-cause analysis related to Active Directory authentication / replication for
all supported servers and Microsoft integrated components. Documented system
integrations, modifications and additions and comply with change management,
configuration management, and quality assurance standards.

This position will be responsible to document processes and procedures, and
enforce Directory Services and server configuration standards. Ensure that all
managed servers and databases meet or exceed corporate standards. Also, will
assist in the creation and maintenance of AD support run books, maintain, tune
Active Directory for all supported environments while adhering to best practices
standards. Will also provide ongoing customer project support, as well as
reporting and analysis for management and the client.

IT Project Manager in the DC Metro area :
As an IT Project Manager you will be responsible for tracking multiple projects,
manage all phases of system development lifecycle and produce or manage project
resources.
Basic Qualifications:
* Several years of IT project management experience and full understanding of
SDLC phases is required.

* Bachelors degree required, with a preference for a degree in computer science,
engineering, MIS or a related discipline. * Authorization to work for any
employer in the U.S.

Desired Skills:
Ability to project manage all phases system development lifecycle including:

Informatica Architect with 10+ years of work experience and highly skilled in
Informatica and ETL concepts in general. The person will be an Architect on a
Clinical Trials dashboard project and help the team deliver faster to aggressive
timelines. 5. Should be able to estimate effort given requirements,
translate requirements to design, analyze data model, define staging / data flow
architecture, define re-usability upfront before development starts, carry out
source data analysis, prepare Source to Target data mappings, develop hands-on
