Technology Manager - Chief Leverage Officer
Client Overview

Compensation
The compensation package and benefits are extremely competitive. The range
depending on the candidate¹s experience could be between 300-500K total
compensation. They will provide assistance with relocation if CT is too far
to commute.
Position Summary
The Technology Manager is the Chief Leverage Officer (CLO) to the Head of
Infrastructure. The CLO participates in the development of tactical and
strategic plans to meet department goals, building the team capability to
deliver toward those goals, and insuring that team tasks and projects are on
an effective trajectory to achieve those goals. The CLO will address issues
and obstacles that could impair the team¹s effectiveness. The CLO will be
required to provide thought partnership to Head of Infrastructure and assist
with the execution of his responsibilities.
Position Requirements
* At least 15 years of experience in technology, with at least 5 years of
experience leading complex infrastructure initiatives.
* Strong knowledge of technology operations as well as engineering and
understands the end-to-end technology life-cycle.
* Must also understand the business side of technology (metrics, process,
financial) and demonstrate effectiveness at developing and managing
processes to facilitate business management.
* Strong knowledge of strategy and direction of key vendors.
* Must have excellent organizational, verbal and written communication
skills and have the ability to communicate effectively at the right level
with a wide variety of people.
* Must be able to work well in an ambiguous and changing environment.
* Must be goal oriented and self-managing.
* Must believe in total transparency with strong ability to hold yourself
and others accountable. This will require being open to giving and receiving
input in an environment where people are encouraged to have a voice at all
levels.
* Requires a Bachelor¹s Degree or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
* Understand and assimilate Infrastructure Services¹ vision and how it
supports the business goals.
* Understand and assimilate business goals.
* Develop and prioritize plans to achieve the vision and goals.
* Develop machinery for repeatable execution of processes.
* Participate in organization design, recruiting, and staff development.
* Develop and track meaningful service metrics.
* Address issues and obstacles that impede progress toward achieving goals.
* Develop and vet program and project level business cases.
* Interface with vendors to insure effective communications of goals,
requirements, and issues.
* Assimilate and champion the company¹s culture and principles.
