A major Bank Holding Company located in NYC is looking for a Vice President of Applications
in their Internal Audit Department.
Responsibilities:
Scope audit assignments including preparation of the scoping document.
Understand the process within the scope.
Manage audit work to ensure that relevant risks and controls have been identified.
Review and direct control evaluation and perform evaluation when appropriate.
Provide guidance to managers during audit assignments.
Experience Required:
Manage audits to ensure that workpapers are concise and accurate or work performed.
Produce audit reports that are concise and address root cause of the audit findings.
Address to report issuance KPI's.
Contribute insight information to BIA and Business Management stakeholders.
10+ years PQE experience (5 to 7 years of relevant experience, 3 to 4 years audit experience).
Must have Financial Services experience (banking, wealth and investment management).
Must have experience in Capital Markets (Equity, Fixed Income, credit and FX).
Salary is up to 200k plus a bonus.

Responsibilities/
To be responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation and completion of the specific tasks required for the timely and effective execution of the transition of IT Service Desk and Deskside Support services from the incumbent supplier to a newly selected supplier, as well as a portfolio of inter-dependent projects in a manner consistent with company strategy, commitments and goals.
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities
¿ Responsible for overall delivery of projects assigned to program
¿ Responsible for development and management of the Integrated Project Plan spanning multiple projects within the program
¿ Responsible for business requirements documentation, including use cases, process flows test cases, etc
¿ Responsible for both direct project management of projects as well as program oversight of projects managed by additional PMs as required.
o Track project deliverables using appropriate tools and methodologies.
o Provide direction and support to the project team.
¿ Project management and communication (to and for client managers and clients)
o Prepare and present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.
o Proactively monitor and report on progress of the project to the core project team and designated stakeholders.
o Assist in developing communication strategy with stakeholders and in establishing communication plan
¿ Responsible for managing the company¿s Toll Gate process and ensuring timely completion of all required deliverables and artifacts to keep the program and applicable projects on schedule
