1 FT Bilingual Program Coordinator (Asbury Park, NJ) The basic functions of the Program Coordinator is to identify potential program participants, initiate contact, promote programs, and facilitate/implement program. Duties include but are not limited to: Conduct weekly outreach in order to engage the community and identify potential program participants outreach may include but is not limited to: presentations and visits to area daycare centers, faith based organizations, clinics, community centers and events and other venues deemed appropriate. Conduct initial intakes and needs assessments of clients. Maintain records of activity participation. Evaluate and record participant progress and program effectiveness by maintaining accurate records. Conduct weekly/bi-weekly workshops and activities related to specific program objectives. May transport clients to related activities. Distribute marketing materials and promote program within the community and to other agency partners and seeks opportunities to expand community linkages of organization. May attend partner meetings. Must stay abreast of community related events Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bilingual in English/Spanish Minimum of 3 years experience in Human Service Field. Capability to work with diverse populations Strong knowledge and understanding of government regulations Strong project management skills with relentless attention to detail on simultaneous deadline projects. Interpersonal skills to identify needs and assess validity Planning and organizational skills sufficient to manage all assignments without supervision productively and promptly. Superior written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and internet. Valid driver license and reliable transportation Weekends and Evenings may be required as needed. 1 FT Bilingual Community Outreach Specialist (Asbury Park, NJ) Reporting Directly to the Program Supervisor for the successful execution of the following duties: Assesses client situations: identifies and interprets federal regulations and uses knowledge and experience to determine best way to assist. Ensures that the assistance is operating in compliance with all laws, regulations, and policies. Maintains knowledge of grant programs in order to interact with applicants, federal agency representatives, and staff. Establish and maintain relationships with applicants, federal agency representatives, peers and staff. Responsible for working closely with the client and staff to insure that all mitigation opportunities are maximization. Works on diverse tasks, analyzes data and exercises independent judgement. Keeps applicants informed and educated and works with applicants to resolve problems. Qualifications: Bilingual in English/Spanish Minimum of 3 years experience in Human Service Field. Valid driver license and reliable transportation Weekends and Evenings may be required as needed. 1 PT Bilingual Admin Assistant (Asbury Park) The Administrative Assistant primary responsibility consists of providing administrative and clerical services for the English as a Second Language program to ensure program is implemented in an effective and efficient manner. Responsibilities include: Conduct student intake /registration. Upon onset of term, enter all students' date using the required computer program. Maintains electronic and hard copy of student files. Ensures data with regards to hours is maintained up to date. Prepare documents including correspondence, reports, memos, email as needed. Provided general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing and copying to management. May be called upon to assist with special projects (nights and weekends) ie. fundraisers, health fairs, etc. Perform other related duties as assigned. Greet and assist visitors if needed. Answer phones and direct calls and respond to inquiries, if needed. Qualifications: Bilingual in English and Creole High school diploma generally required. Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures. Knowledge of computers, keyboard skills and relevant software applications. Knowledge of customer service. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail, organizing and planning. Demonstrates, initiative, reliability and stress tolerance. Valid Driver license and reliable transportation Weekends and evenings may be required as needed.
