>Required Skills
>
> Preferred 7+ years experience in a fast paced telecommunications support environment
> Strong working experience in Cisco IPT and one or two other vendors
> Ability to conduct investigative research into telecommunications issues and products
> Technical Knowledge
> Strong technical knowledge of VoIP/IP telephony systems, PBXs, voice mail, ACDs, interactive voice services, call management systems, and telecommunications accounting systems.
> Strong hands on knowledge of SIP, H.323, TCP/IP, FoIP
> Technical knowledge of T1/PRI, MPLS, Frame Relay, ATM, ISDN and systems interconnectivity
> Microsoft Office Suite (2003 and 2007)
> Strong understanding of VoIP QoS issues and mitigation strategies.
> Strong technical knowledge of current telecommunications practices, Internet and network protocols, perating systems, and standards,

> Maintain and support of the 60+ Guardian sites.
> Maintain and support of all voice applications, i.e voicemail, fax, speech recognition, chargeback etc
> Design and support telecommunications infrastructure and its associated software, including PBXs, call management systems, voice mail, interactive voice response Configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user telecommunications, telephony, and voice/data software products
