Required Skills
Minimum 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst
Strong understanding of SDLC life cycle processes (Classical and Agile) and Project Management principles
Prior experience working as part of large project implementation with tight timelines
Knowledge in the Financial Risk Management domain (Credit Risk, Portfolio Management, Capital Adequacy, financial Accounting )
Experience Liaising and Coordinating with third party vendor and cross functional teams.
Experience documenting detailed and lucid business and system requirements
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to coordinate and interface with multiple business and technology groups
Highly motivated and Result-oriented
Desired Skills
(Skills not Mandatory but useful for Performance)
Prior experience working as a Business analyst preferably in the Financial Risk Management domain
Project management professional certification (PMP).
Terms of Reference
(Work to be performed)
The candidate is expected to
Develop a deep understanding of the financial risk applications that are targeted to be integrated in the new Credit Risk platform system
Identify and analyze dependencies between various systems at client location and the Risk Platform
Analyze the business processes and requirements for the platform.
Collaborate with the SMEs, project leads, business analysts and business users from different business and technology units.
Prepare Business , System Requirements and Use Case Specifications document
Prepare test case specification document
Prepare project plan; Closely monitor and track all the activities to report any slippage
Report to the Client Officer on the project status, highlight risks and issues and assist with all project deliverables at a tactical level
Prepare and maintain meeting minutes, action items; Track action items to closure.
Assist Client officer in the preparation and and submission of project status report
Facilitate and coordinate weekly status meeting
Monitor the progress of the tasks and promptly escalate any potential issues.
Work closely with the project team members (developers, business analysts, vendor consultants and user leads).
Work with the other functional units in the IT department and make sure all the requirements are captured and documented as per the specifications
Closely monitor the deliverables by the vendor and promptly escalate any issues to Client officer.
Co-ordinate with the user group and the application vendor during the assessment. design and implementation phase.
Coordinate user review, testing and sign-off.
Coordinate with Cross functional teams viz IV &V, QA, Information Security, Enterprise Architecture, PMT and PMO teams for assessment and implementation of the solution
Propose and implement best practices
