This position is accountable to conduct day-to-day development, maintenance and optimization of a comprehensive set of metrics covering time, cost and quality in view of the evaluation of the effectiveness of existing procedures ultimately to further optimize the interactions and processes between the different functions within R&D Operations but also with their partners. Execute ad-hoc reporting and analysis (e.g. management queries). Responsible for creation of specific metrics packages (e.g. operational performance metrics & analysis) and assist in development of functional performance dashboards. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Includes the following; additional duties may be assigned as needed). 
• Under the direction of the Business Operations Lead, develop and improve specific global metrics in collaboration with relevant stakeholders to improve the overall performance of Global Clinical Operations (GCO) 
• May participate in the development and improvement of specific in-scope toolkits for GCO use, e.g. GCO Performance Dashboard 
• Build and maintain subject matter expertise in the application of metrics and measurement to business process within specific process domains. 
• Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis of data 
• Provide report building expertise and support in the creation of performance monitoring mechanisms 
• Liaise closely with GCO personnel in both data analysis and report generation 
• Develop and grow expertise in reporting mechanisms and systems 

REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: 
A Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Arts (BA) degree or equivalent degree is required. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a medium to large scale matrix organization which includes applicable compliance related field and/or equivalent time and experience in a related R&D area is required. Requires knowledge of the drug development process, sound research and development practices, scientific and quality terminology, business intelligence tools, experience with databases and large data sets and visualization tools. 

"Pharma/Clinical background REQUIRED"

COGNOS (Query Studio, Reporting Studio) 
Clinical Trial Management Systems 
Excel (expert level required) 
Access 
PowerPoint 
Tableau (preferred but not required) 
SpotFire (preferred but not required)
