Skills and abilities you should bring to the table:
- Extensive experience with ecommerce website technologies including PHP 4/5, MySQL 4/5, Apache, CSS, Ajax, JavaScript, XSL, XML, HTML and DHTML.
- Experience in SVN version control
- Web analytics, search engine optimization (SEO), and web marketing knowledge
- Web 2.0 fundamental understanding
- Industry experience in designing highly scalable and high availability applications
- Strong knowledge of object oriented programming
- Ecommerce experience with credit card and Pay Pal processing
- Separation of code from content using a templating system
- Experience with localization would be a plus
- 5+ years experience with PHP and MySQL web development
- Strong problem-solving skills and creativity
- Collaborative, well organized and ability to contribute in a team environment
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
What you will be doing:
- You will have core design and development responsibilities as we work to create innovative, highly visible ecommerce web sites
- You will be working on many aspects of complex ecommerce websites
- Helping to take an advanced and dynamic websites to the next levels
Rates range from $42-45/hr
