Job Description :

One of SGA's major financial clients in NYC is seeking an IT Project Manager
to drive delivery of IT deliverables to the business managing time, scope,
cost and quality. The PM is expected to be effective in leading team,
managing risks, communicating, and complying with IT Governance controls.
This Commodities IT Project Manager will need to deliver the following
projects:

* Commodities Derivative Definition Change - Project to change Endur
instrument accounting from accrual to mark to market accounting for impacted
products
* Restatement Simplification - Three small projects to simplify
current accounting simulations for accrual products and create a new MIS
report for Front Office

Specifically the Project Manager will be responsible for the following:

* Establishing and Maintaining Project Governance and Adhering to the
Accounting Standards Programme, Project and Workpackage Governance
* Developing and implementation of Stakeholder Communication plans,
ensuring lines are open between Stakeholders
* Managing change management processes and resolving/escalating issues
as necessary
* Managing Project Performance and providing status updates to the
Stakeholders and PMO of this performance
* Identify and manage Stakeholders, including facilitating signoffs
and meetings
* Ensuring all project deliverables meet the corporate standards of
the Global Solutions Delivery Policy and SDLC+ in addition to the standards
set by the IFRS Programme.
* Providing a resource plan that meets the skill requirements of the
project and deliver on budget
* Developing project plans and obtaining agreement and signoff on
them, then executing against them
* Managing procurement for hardware, software and consultancy
contracts in collaboration with Procurement and IT resources
* Manage vendor relationship as it pertains to the project

Required Skills

* 3+ years of prior working experience working on in a fast paced
trading environment
* 5+ years working experience as Project Manager
* Formal training in Project Management Methodology such as PMI or
Prince 2

Desirable Skills

* PMI Certification
* 3+ years working experience in Fixed Income Markets
* Experience working with a Commodities Trading Platform, such as
Endur

Big plus: Familiarity with multi-GAAP reporting and conversion experiences
(e.g., US GAAP, IFRS, Swiss GAAP, & Local GAAP requirements & environments

role..its a BPM position..

Job Description - Senior Business Process Management - 2 POSITIONS

Overview

This individual is expected to understand and be responsible for one or more
key deliverables of our Business Process Management Office:

1) Business Process Strategy, standards and governance.
Get engaged with a Business Units to document current processes and to
assist in the reengineering /transformation process with the client and our
Internal users. Assist in driving the envisionment of the future processes
and make sure that good reusable documentation is created and that our
Enterprise tools are used.

This individual needs to understand the Financial Services industry very
well and quickly learn Pershing's Business Model to be able to help envision
the future processes and to establish the metrics for the transformation
effort (cost effective, eliminate manual process, reduce the FTEs for the
process, etc.)

In this it is expected that the individual is knowledgeable in BPM
technologies and that the process is embracing re-usability of existing
technology assets.

2) Business Ownership of our BPM Technologies and other Common
Services.
The BPMO owns the responsibilities for the rolling-out, integration and
re-use of Lombardi, our future state BPM tool. The individual needs to
understand Exception Processing (identification and resolution), application
orchestrations, Business Activity Monitoring, BPM Dashboards (for example
workforce productivity), to be able to participate or drive certain efforts,

The candidate also needs to understand the value of using common services
and learn to understand the once the BPMO owns and provide consulting to the
Business Analyst and Business SME's in their use (and re-use).

The individual must have an excellent understanding of architecture and
process design concepts and methodologies, and must work with each project
team (business and technology members) to create the migration roadmaps
towards the Enterprise services model blueprints using BPM and Common
Services.

Key Accountabilities:

Assist in the development of BPM Business Strategies

Develop and maintain Methodologies, Standards, templates and tools

Provide SME in the definition, design and delivery of BPM solutions

Infrastructure and administration

Establish and report metrics for BPM projects and common services
use

Be proactive and providing leadership and mentorship

Document Business Process Models and assist the business in
transformation and improvements

Drive the timely implementation of BPM projects

Specific Skills

Strong skills and knowledge of the financial services industry and the
internal and external industry changes and new concepts

Strong skills and knowledge of application service design concepts (SOA),
straight through processing and exception processing and BPM architecture
concepts.

Excellent written and oral communications skills

Ability to communicate and both technical and user-friendly language

Highly self motivated and directed

Experience in team oriented, collaborative environments

Strong knowledge of BPM technologies (Lombardi a plus)

Java Spring MVC Engineers at a major company in King of Prussia, PA. No

Sr. Software Engineers
Qualifications:
* Spring MVC is a required skill.
o 1 Year experience minimum
o Our client uses the following Spring Modules
 Core container module
 Application context module
 AOP module
 Web module

* The Spring Framework has many components. You
must have Spring MVC knowledge. Many candidates cite Spring and MVC separately,
and often times have not used the MVC-capabilities of the Spring Framework.

Overview:
The primary focus of this position is to support software
development and maintenance within the Java API and JSP tiers for our client*s
partner webstores and back-end system engineering functions. The position
requires the individual to work closely with the Database, Architecture and
Project Management teams to develop and implement new webstore functionality.
Software Engineers are involved in all phases of a project including: planning,
reviewing specifications, documentation, scheduling, development, testing and
ongoing support.
- Work with the technology project teams to guide the
design of new applications to support the company*s business needs.
- Develop and enhance webstore API code based on project
documentation including written requirements, flow diagrams, page comps and
data designs.
- Participate in requirements definition.
- Assist in the estimation of work for the Web
Technologies group by defining task breakdown, project duration and concurrent
effort.
- Assist in production escalation and problem resolution.
- Function independently with project assignments and not
require a lot of direction or supervision.
- Exhibit a process-oriented mindset and produce
detailed, accurate and readable documentation.

Desirable Requirements:
- Prior experience in e-commerce software application
development is preferred
- Hands on experience with Oracle 9i or higher, BEA Web
Logic 10.0 or higher desired
- Experience developing in XML / SOAP technologies is
desired
- Experience developing in Spring MVC / Apache Struts /
