Subject: FW: Workers in Transition Technology Program
Gary,
I've been seeking to expand knowledge of an initiative that I hold at
Microsoft in Waltham for displaced workers and workers in transition. Yours
is one in a series of networking organizations I am hoping will spread the
word on the program.
The program is a series of low cost training that I hold weekly at Microsoft
in Waltham, MA. I am a Microsoft Certified Trainer and Microsoft Office
Specialist Master Instructor with 15 years of technology training
deliveries. I operate a corporate training practice, based in Natick, as
well as this public service practice (in Waltham).
Information about the program is at www.wittp.com - These are 4 hour, $40
session to help boost skill set confidence in workers who need to qualify
for new jobs. They cover ten products in the line, including Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Project, Publisher, Visio, etc.
Endorsements for the program and my work can be found on my LinkedIn
profile, as well as the web sites shown in my signature. I already have
members from a number of other networking organizations coming to and
endorsing these classes, including those from:
. Acton Networkers
. Wind
. Ex Fidelity Employees
. And more ..
To this point, I have advertised mostly by word of mouth, but am trying to
expand the reach of the program. Eligible categories of participants
include:
. Workers Displaced Or Underemployed As A Result Of These Last
Recessions.
. Military Workers Transition Into Civilian Jobs.
. Mothers/Fathers Returning To The Workforce Following The Raising
Of Families
. Workers Who Have Decided To Create Their Own Businesses
If you can inform members to your network of this program, they may find it,
as others have, useful.
Please let me know if I can provide further information
