Job Description:
Key Functions
* Responsible for gathering, analyzing and prioritizing business and functional requirements to facilitate the development of new
systems or technical solutions for a business issue
* Actively supports the goals and activities of the BA Center of Excellence Leads the process of gathering, analyzing, documenting,
prioritizing and approving of business and functional requirements
* Coordinates training and provides leadership/guidance to team members Main Activities
* Works with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Stakeholders and other project team members on complex business requirements
projects and determines alternative solutions for data, processes, interfaces, controls and outputs to fit within the schedule and
budget
* Documents/translates complex business requirements in functional and technical requirements and processes
* Follows defined standards and methodologies from the AXA Equitable Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and CMMi program
* Maintains proficiency in Business Analysis best practices and recommends improvements
* Participates as a Business Requirements Subject Matter Expert to support development of subsequent project artifacts such as the
technical design and test plan documentation
* Establishes standards for and develops software/vendor comparison analyses to expand inventory of recommended solutions
* Works with other project Business Analysts, and mentors and/or directs the work of other team members
* Leads requirements gathering, analysis, reviews and feasibility sessions
* Defines timetables, project plans and schedules; analyzes and estimates feasibility, cost and compatibility with other systems
* Collaborates with other IT organizations to understand and monitor best practices for business analysis methodologies and tools
* Maintains broad understanding of platforms and applications across technologies Differentiating Activities
* Leads, mentors and/or directs the work of other team members. Leads analysis review sessions
* Performance reviews/goal setting for direct reports
* Defines timetables and project plans; analyzes and estimates feasibility, cost and compatibility with other systems

* Manages COE Process Improvement team with several BA team members Qualifications
* 5-7 years business analysis experience
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.
* AXA BA Certification
* Business Training / Certification (such as FLMI) desired
Job Requirements:
* Responsible for leading team of BAs at a project or workstream level for one or more large / critical business system
* Provides functional guidance and knowledge for all business requirements work in developing the Business Requirements Document
(BRD) for system development project/workstream
* Exhibits creative problem solving and leadership in business requirements development and management
* Maintains detailed knowledge of the businesses current technology and infrastructure
* Experience working with vendor applications and package implementations

Job Description:
Key Functions:
* Accountable to the Project Sponsor (who may be in the Solutions Delivery or Project Management tiers, IT Management or business
executive) for leading the successful delivery of a project according to measures of scope, time, cost & quality.
* Management of project staff towards a common goal. Potential to have one or more project managers reporting to them on smaller
projects
* Responsible for applying project management tools and methodologies to ensure the delivery of multiple small projects or a single
large and complex project.
* Integrates multiple functional areas of technology and the business in the planning, execution, control and implementation of the
project. Main Activities:
* Conducts project estimate workshops with project stakeholders to drive project estimates.
* Challenges estimates where appropriate to insure accurate effort estimates by functional areas.
* Creates and manages the necessary artifacts necessary required for governance approval for medium to large-scale projects.
* Partners with ASO and procurement to determine vendors for the project. Active participant in vendor negotiations and contract
creation
* Actively manages all stakeholder expectations
* Manages deliverables from all functional teams ensuring they meet the define timeline and quality based on CMMI and SDLC
guidelines
* Deploys project management principles and techniques directly and with the support of Associate Project Manager(s) in sufficient
rigor to establish and maintain control of the project.
* Tailors the use of specific project management techniques to each assignment (e.g. emphasizing risk management, or change
management).
* Organizes and leads the project team through the initiation, planning, execution, control, implementation and closure phases of
the project.
* Reports status to the sponsor, and escalates changes, issues, risks for resolution when needed.
* Negotiates with resource managers to acquire the resources necessary to produce the project on time and within budget.
* Manages third party vendors providing project specific support or software customization. Typically this is accomplished by
working through the vendor's project manager. Differentiating Activities:
* Advanced understanding of the CMMI methodologies and artifacts required to meet the CMMI Level-3 requirements.
* Strong management skills to manage a large project team or multiple smaller projects towards successful completion
* Ability to perform advanced risk analysis on complex work efforts
* Ability to work closely with VPs and SVPs from the business and to present and discuss solutions with senior IT partners and
management.
* Excellent vendor management skills, ability to negotiate and enforce contract terms
In some cases, may be expected to have a strong technical background (application and/or operational).
Application of project management methodologies (derived from advanced training or PMP certification).
Recommend process improvement changes based on the practical applications of processes during project execution Job Requirements:
* Responsible for deploying project management principles and techniques to one or more projects that span multiple functional
departments (IT and Business).
* Ability to execute and prioritize a large number of tasks, and resolve issues and resource conflicts without aid from direct
manager or project sponsor.
* Strong management skills are needed to manage a team of technical SMEs and business users.
* Provide project feedback as well as participate in the annual review and goal setting process, may have one or more direct
reports.
* Ability to design and lead the implementation of an efficient process for overall project management.
* Ability to interact with other process groups as required to ensure an integrated holistic view of the process framework.
* Ability to provide business and/or technical leadership to the extent needed for successful conduct of the project.
* Exhibit creative problem solving and leadership in implementation of system life-cycle techniques.
Qualifications:
* college Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience required / Advanced Degree or equivalent
work experience preferred.
* 7-15 years general business experience
* 4-7 years Project Management experience.
* PMP certification
* Subject matter expertise in at least one business and/or technical area.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Control and negotiation of purchasing packaging components and raw materials in a manner that assures cost effective and timely purchases, while maintaining a strong, ethical business relationship with all company suppliers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Negotiate contracts for packaging and raw materials (as needed) for the Company
Identify alternative packaging materials and raw materials as secondary sources that meet quality, cost and service requirements of the company's purchasing needs.
Adhere to and assist in policing all corporate policies and procedures.
Maintain a close working relationship with Sales, Manufacturing, Finance and other disciplines as required to provide optimum communication in relation to all matters concerning the Company.
Keep departments in the company aware of price fluctuations in order to maintain accurate records, via up-to-date maintenance of computerized price book.
Maintain open communication with manufacturing operations to assure coordinated awareness of supplier activities and problems.
Work closely with suppliers to maintain quality of raw materials and timely shipments to user plants.
Process quality complaints for raw materials and packaging directly with the suppliers to avoid recurrences.
Monitor inventories of raw materials at the plants.
Maintain departmental compliance with ISO rules.
Oversee relevant imports / exports between xxxx Corporation from xxxxx Europe as well as other related subsidiaries, licensees and subcontractors.
Coordinate and report on competitive business activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's in Business, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Materials Science (experience may substitute for education)
Minimum 8 years purchasing / negotiating experience. Must have experience with large dollar / volume contracts
Minimum 3 years experience managing third party Toll Manufacturing
Fundamental knowledge of compliance / legal requirements for supply contracts, Non Disclosure Agreements, Toll Agreements, etc.
Prior experience with quality system (i.e. ISO 9000)
Strong written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability to build strategic vendor relationships that provide a competitive advantage
High ethical standards consistent with company values
Knowledge of masterbatch industry, and prior experience purchasing resins (PET, Nylon, ABS, SAN, PC) and additives (Flame Retardants, Amides, Stearates) is a plus
Superior follow-up and organizational skills
