My client, a major foreign investment firm is seeking a candidate to be
their Business Manager for this newly created division. This person will be
responsible for setting up and managing the Sales and Client Account
Function for Fixed income, Currencies and Commodities. Also, He /she will be
responsible for overseeing the Hedge Fund /Client Operations Function and
the overall management and running of the N.Y. Office.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Hedge Funds Oversight
Oversee and implement Hedge Fund Operations function that leverages existing
services in the firm to deliver premium service and facilitate growth of
Hedge Fund Business
2. Fixed income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC) Account Management
Oversight
Own Sales/ Account Management Function including implementation and
operation of the CRM system across FICC
3. NY Office Business Management
o Assisting businesses with any strategies when required.
o New locations / offices etc.
o Reporting (management, quarterly, board, internal etc.)
o Communications oversight.
o Training oversight.
o Graduate and Intern recruiting oversight.
o Finance (funding, contingent funding, capital, return metrics etc.; in
other words, he / she will be the person on the ground able to deal with
these issues)
o New businesses (again, working with Business Development Team and others,
and where appropriate, he/she will take ownership)
o Business Continuity Planning and other operational responsibilities
oversight.
o Coordinating our cross divisional and cross group initiatives (and in many
cases creating these initiatives).
o Internal Audits
o Financial regulations etc.
o Group and business presentations (will keep up to date all FICC and
business presentations, keeping styles consistent, with most recent
financials etc.)
o Reporting on all projects (i.e. even those projects where He/ she isn't
involved, so that we can have a consolidated list of the status of each
project)
Working with his/ her equivalents in other regions on regional projects, and
also ensuring that Europe, Middle East and Africa are kept up to date with
successful new initiatives in other jurisdictions.

The proper candidate must have 15 plus yrs. of relevant experience working
in a major investment firm with strong experience in Commodities, this is a
must, fixed income and Foreign Exchange is strongly preferred. Candidate
must possess "Front Office" savvy and have the ability to deal with and grow
the client base. The client will consider a front office salesperson who
understands the "Big" picture of this type of business unit.

We currently have 3 Technical manager contract to hire opportunities at a major
company in King of Prussia, PA.

Overview:
Technical Manager plays a key technology leadership role in the Accounts
services department. They oversee all development and QA activities across all
areas of service offerings for multiple customers in the portfolio. Drive
technical solutions through feasibility, requirements, design, development, test
and deployment. Technical Managers are skilled at managing the technical risks
to project success and driving solutions through to completion. Responsible for
building, coaching and mentoring Accounts services technical teams including
developers and QA. Primary objective is to become technical counter part of
account director to optimize new or existing customer experience on the
company̢۪s e-Commerce platform.

Responsibilities:
* Overall objective is to drive development and implementation of our client
company̢۪s e-Commerce products, services and solutions per customer need
* Own, assess, build and develop individual Services team capability, including
development & QA, ready to scale in support of the company̢۪s accelerated growth
projections
* Lead a team of JAVA developers, Web developers and Quality Assurance
analysts, and other matrix resources to drive Accounts Services portfolio for
multiple customers
* Assist Accounts Directors in preparing and applying both tactical and
strategic services models aimed at growing customer satisfaction, driving higher
revenues, and improving other established KPI
* Assist Accounts Director in facilitating technical discussions brokering
significant deals that may involve conflicts or competing interests both
internally and external partners.

* Work with Accounts Director and account team to develop individual customer
rollout plans and oversee technical execution
* Work with Accounts Director to accurately forecast monthly, quarterly and
annual resources for responsible accounts team
* Hire, coach and develop accounts services team members
* Accountable for providing end-to-end custom technical solution or ,
implementation of standard services offerings including deployment and ongoing
maintenance
* Signoff point on all technical designs and other development artifacts
* Prepare, review and approve all deployment and associated validation plans
* Develop and implement development standards, Quality standards and other
policies as part of outstanding Services offerings
* Provide i/p for performance evaluation of team members for responsible
services team




Qualifications:
Must have:
* A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is
required

* Demonstrated past experience leading development with Core Java, JSP and J2EE
technologies.
* Hands on experience with Oracle 10g or higher, JBoss AS 6.0.xx
* Experience managing integrations with XML / SOAP technologies is desired
* Demonstrated technical management skills across diverse technology platforms
* Knowledge, skills and experience in managing and growing professional
services teams in extremely fast paced environment
* Exceptional customer facing/listening skills and the ability to coach the
same within the team.

* Demonstrated strong written, oral and presentation skills with the ability to
discuss highly technical concepts to a variety of audiences, including executive
level technical decision-makers on customer side
* Assist Accounts Director in resolving complex negotiations with various
partners and internal stakeholders under time pressure by providing required
technical guidance

Desired:

* Prior experience implementing Intershop̢۪s Enfinity Suite, Demandware
e-Commerce suite or other similar packaged e-Commerce platform is preferred

* Previous experience with Order Management system development or
implementation is desiredKnowledge of multi channel e-Commerce products and
