"From the Other Side: Learning to Interview from the Employer's Perspective"

Speaker: Gregg Russo, C-Suite Level Human Resources Executive

TOPIC

This highly interactive session will train job candidates to prepare for an interview by understanding the process from the interviewers perspective. Workshop participants will be taught how to prepare for and answer the most challenging "behavioral interviewing" questions. Other key skills covered include' researching companies, nailing the background review and successfully closing the interview.

Participants should bring up to date resumes.

SPEAKER

GREGG RUSSO: Gregg Russo, the former founding head of human resources for Daiichi Sankyo Pharmaceutical Inc., is a dynamic C-Suite Level Human Resources Executive with extensive experience in start-ups, acquisitions, divestitures and other challenging corporate scenarios, including large growth businesses in numerous, demanding and regulation-heavy industries such as pharmaceutical, defense and retail. Gregg is a veteran human resources executive with more than 20 years' experience. He has been extensively involved in the employment function having personally interviewed more than a thousand job candidates over the course of his career.

Gregg is a certified instructor in Targeted Selection Interviewing and has taught this methodology to both HR and line leaders. Gregg has a Bachelor's and Master's degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and resides in Randolph NJ with his wife and two kids. He is a long time community volunteer and has been recognized for his service as a recipient of the Julius and Bessie Cohn Leadership Award from Metrowest United Jewish Communities and as Honorary Chair of Employment Horizon's dinner gala.
