· IT BA position with Finance IT to support the finance business. The ideal candidate has strong SAP General ledger experience, general ledger accounting principle knowledge as well as IT business analysis experience.
· Work with finance in gaining an understanding of the IT impact of the incoming Regulatory Reform projects
· Firm up requirements documents and negotiate changes
· Work with APAC in estimating work effort & cost
· Support projects as they are approved acting as a liaison between the Americas and APAC IT teams
· Performs standard BA functions such as; review BRD's, write FDD's & reviews FDD's with requestors & application services, write test cases, tests changes, coordinates UAT
· Clears any roadblocks necessary and is committed to make sure all RFC's for the region are delivered as scheduled

· Potential Additional Responsibilities:
· Drives the changes from the request through delivery into production.
o Guarantees all BRD's for the region are clear & works with users to improve the quality before allowing them to enter our governance process. Debates the value of delivering a given BRD over BRD's that have a larger impact on the region or user experience
o Understands the status of all regional RFC's & is the escalation point for any RFC no matter if assigned to it or it is assigned to a resource in APAC.
o Acts as the liaison between the region & APAC. Assists Manila & Singapore BS & AS organizations in communicating with the region when necessary. Overall ensuring communication to the business from APAC is clear & effective. Takes on any tasks necessary to eliminate communication issues (after 2 emails if the issue isn't resolved, PICK UP THE PHONE or schedule a meeting (stop torturing people), use meeting minutes & follow up on them
· Works with Production Management in improving the overall performance & stability of the region. Gain an understanding our batch processes, repeated issues or shortcomings & spearhead improvement paths necessary to make our region more stable & efficient such as; batch performance, upstream system improvements, & user knowledge
· Works with the business in understanding how they use our systems. Identify quick wins that will improve the overall perception of our applications
· Sub-ledger Processing – assists the business in requests for sub-ledger processing. Making sure requests are fulfilled with little confusion & frustration
· Process advocate – directs people through our processes (RFC change, sub ledger testing, other testing)
· Supports the Finance Change team in the region
· Assists other regions when necessary

He/She is responsible for developing sourcing strategies for their spend segments based on supplier and technology market knowledge, providing a global picture on their segments and coordinating and centralizing purchasing action plans for their segments.

The Senior Buyer develops and is responsible for implementing sourcing strategies in addition to optimizing purchasing for his/her entire category/categories in Common spend. His/her expertise helps improve efficiency/performance, while meeting internal client and business needs.

The Senior Buyer key sourcing duties/responsibilities are but not limited to:
• Identify upstream all of the needs and key projects of the business for his/her perimeter
• Anticipate and consolidate all business needs to develop relevant purchasing operational action plans
• Conduct supplier and technology market analysis and specific benchmarking reviews as required
• Implement sourcing strategies according to category management orientations for his/her area of spend
• Develop and share with category managers and internal customers his/her supplier market expertise
• Depending on nature of spend, build a strong relationship with his/her internal customers and main suppliers
• Develop reports, activity dashboards and relevant KPIs to monitor and manage his/her activities
The Senior Buyer key operational duties/responsibilities are but not limited to:
• Ensure that all needs and key projects are identified and challenged for his/her perimeter
• Coordinates SRM, Sustainable Development & Supplier Diversity activities for his/her area of spend
• Manage and optimize when required/relevant the human resources to fulfil the teams Client
• Responsible for achieving operational objectives defined by the COE Head for his/her perimeter
• Lead and conduct RFP process with ad-hoc procurement and internal customer support
