Marketing Research Manager - NYC - Client-side Opportunity

Manage relationship with outside market research vendors

Oversee qualitative and quantitative research projects through all phases:
project proposal, questionnaire design, sample design, data collection, data
analysis, reporting, presentation and implementation.

Act as an internal consultant on strategic & tactical research deliverables

Track competitive intelligence; Identifying key themes to position the firm

Requirements:

3-6 years experience at a market research firm conducting primary market
research on both qualitative and quantitative projects

Thorough knowledge of wide array of various market research
projects/techniques including segmentation, positioning, concept testing,
brand tracking and ad testing

Outstanding analytical and critical thinking skills: demonstrated ability to
interpret and draw conclusions from disparate sources of data and present
findings with thoughtful insights and recommendations

Excellent presentation and communication skills with the drive to
communicate and convince others of the need to transform

Understands business and market context in order to anticipate business

We are seeking a VP of Business Development reporting to its Chief Executive Officer to help drive revenue growth. This person will have a combination of small & large business technology infrastructure best practices, preferably in the managed service provider and Cloud space. We are looking for a sales star.

Key Responsibilities

•       Responsible for all aspects of the sales life cycle: Lead generation, initial client assessment, proposal & contract generation, price negotiations, contract closure.

Sales Qualifications
