*Featured Article: Conquering Salary Question Fears
<http://www.net-temps.com/adcgi/keywords.cgi?vendor=crossroads&kw=4347>
*Today we're discussing how to confidently handle the most-feared job
interview question: "The Salary Question." In this segment, I'll give you
several different ways to respond to this question and tell you what to do
if interviewers ask multiple times. By giving you several options, you'll be
able to create a response that feels comfortable and effective for you. I'll
also describe what to do before you're asked "The Salary Question" and
provide specific examples of what to say. I'll not only give you the
strategy, I'll give you some examples.

*Leverage Job Descriptions to Create Your Resume
*<http://www.net-temps.com/adcgi/keywords.cgi?vendor=crossroads&kw=4348>
Job postings can serve as a resume blueprint. So if you are unsure of what
accomplishments to highlight, use the information in the ads to pinpoint
which accomplishments are the most important and relevant to the open
position. Read through each posting carefully and select the bullet points
you want to address in your resume. For illustration purposes, below are
mock job-description bullet points along with accomplishment statements that
speak to each bullet point.

*Follow Your Cover Letter With a Follow-Up!
How would you like to double your job search odds? Is that a 'yes?' If so,
please read carefully because I have a bit of magic to share with you that
can make that possible. The secret formula is this: Contact the company you
want to work for not once but twice - first in your initial cover letter and
then in a follow-up cover letter, giving you a chance to be noticed two
times instead of one.

*Can Recruiters Find You?
Having been a recruiter myself for over 15 years, job seekers often ask me
how to work with top flight recruiters today. My reply is not what they
usually want to hear. Top recruiters are already wired into their own
network of potential candidates for the specific positions they work. Calls
from outsiders or resumes sent blind to them rarely spark their interest.
Yet, there are some tools and techniques you can use to get yourself on the
radar of the better recruiters who specialize in your field.
